* UsefulNotes/HighDefinition: Although it was made during an era when most households still had standard-def [=TVs=], all sixty-five episodes of ''Lilo & Stitch: The Series'' were produced in HD, giving it some future-proofing.

* TechnologyMarchesOn: [=VCRs=] and videocassettes were shown or referenced a few times in the show. Those things were already in decline by the time ''The Series'' debuted and would become completely obsolete in just a few years.[[note]]In fact, the year the show debuted (2003), DVD rentals exceeded VHS rentals in the United States for the first time. ''Leroy & Stitch'' (2006) even holds the distinction of being the only ''Lilo & Stitch'' film to have never seen a VHS release.[[/note]] Other episodes also showed some older Earth-based computers, and "Splodyhead" had Jumba mentioning that his hi-tech camping tent has a DVD player, which was the highest quality home media standard during the show's run.

* IWantYouToMeetAnOldFriendOfMine: Pleakley is voiced by Kevin [=McDonald=] from ''Series/TheKidsInTheHall''; when his family came to visit in "[[Recap/LiloAndStitchTheSeriesS1E14Fibber Fibber]]", his former castmates provided their voices. Creator/ScottThompson [[CrossDressingVoices was his mom]], Creator/BruceMcCulloch [[CrossDressingVoices was his sister]], and Creator/MarkMcKinney was his brother; Creator/DaveFoley [[ItMakesSenseInContext was the priest]].

* BigInJapan: Sparky and Angel were popular enough to appear in ''Franchise/KingdomHearts''[[note]]Sparky was in ''[[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsBirthBySleep Birth by Sleep]]'', Angel currently has only appeared as TheCameo in ''[[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsX X]]''[[/note]] and ''Anime/{{Stitch}}'', as well as numerous Japanese merchandise based on ''Lilo & Stitch'', despite respectively debuting in ''WesternAnimation/StitchTheMovie'' and the American animated series.

* NowWhichOneWasThatVoice: The show primarily used a "With the Voice Talents Of" list throughout its run, not identifying the voice actors with their characters. Season two does credit the main cast with their specific roles but still didn't identify voice actors for minor roles.

* TrollingCreator: To some extent; that [[spoiler:pod of Experiment 628]] seen at the end of "627"? That was just a joke added in.[[note]]While Disney outside of the U.S. sometimes treats WesternAnimation/{{Leroy|AndStitch}} as [[spoiler:being Experiment 628]], he actually wasn't [[spoiler:given a number]] in his only animated appearance, and most fans treat him as [[spoiler:being Experiment 629]] instead, which was [[AscendedFanon eventually canonized]] by ''Manga/StitchAndTheSamurai''.[[/note]]

** The last three episodes of season one ("Slugger", "Bad Stitch", and "Drowsy") were mistakenly left off Disney+ at launch, but were later added shortly thereafter.

** Disney ''did'' botch the airing of new episodes throughout its second season, however. There were some months-long hiatuses between airings of new episodes during that season, taking nearly ''two years'' to get through season two as a result, despite having a third fewer episodes than season one.

* CreatorsApathy: "Apathy" might be a bit too strong to describe this, since Chris Sanders is still proud of what he started, but he had to make it clear to the fans that he had no intentions of following up his film with a TV series. He will acknowledge things that happened or were established in this series, such as Tantalog being the name given to Stitch's gibberish language or Phantasmo having possessed Scrump at one point, but he will also make it clear how he was basically hands-off with this show.

** Jess Winfield stated on his TV Tome Q&A thread (partial fan archive [[http://lilo-andstitch.tripod.com/tvtome/page03.html here]]) that his favorite episode was "[[Recap/LiloAndStitchTheSeriesS1E9YinYang Yin-Yang]]", saying that the episode's experiments, story, and theme worked well together. "[[Recap/LiloAndStitchTheSeriesS1E30Angel Angel]]" and "[[Recap/LiloAndStitchTheSeriesS1E36BonnieAndClyde Bonnie & Clyde]]" were also his other favorites. However, he stated this in December 2004, during the early days of the second season, so it's unknown if his opinions have changed afterward.
