* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: During the 2010 World Cup, there was a three-parter known as "El Riñon de Bibi", in where the P.Luches want to go to South Africa to the World Cup and they decide that to buy the plane tickets, they should ''sell one of Bibi's kidneys''. As mentioned on YMMV, many people hated that the family was starting to treat Bibi like a punching bag, so saying that many people were upset by the family's treatment of her is a ''very big misunderstatement''. Since then, the episode hasn't been shown in reruns again or on streaming services and home media becuase of the negative response, though it might have also been because it was a one-off special. However, video recording of the episode have surfaced online, pretty much cementing this episode as [[NeverLiveItDown one of the occasions]] where the P.Luche's abuse of Bibi has hit a new low.

* AdoredByTheNetwork: The Latin American version of Creator/ComedyCentral (sans the Brazilian and Southern fed) really, really loves showing reruns of this series on constant basis, to the point that this show and fellow Creator/{{Televisa}} sitcom ''Series/{{Vecinos}}'' making almost the entirety of their daily schedule. This ended up infuriating ''WesternAnimation/SouthPark'' fans and other shows, [[ScrewedByTheNetwork as they were either dumped really late-at-night]] [[FridayNightDeathSlot and/or being screwed over on bad time-slots and later removed from the schedule]] because they allegedly don't appease Latin-audiences for whatever reason. To make matters worse, many Televisa-owned networks rerun this series to death as well, despite the series lasting only 80 episodes, which is a laughable number for a sitcom that gets that many reruns.

** While she doesn't regret the series as a whole, Consuelo Duval has recognized that the running gag of the family mistreating Bibi was cruel.
