As mentioned on YMMV, many people hated that the family was starting to treat Bibi like a punching bag, so saying that many people were upset by the family's treatment of her is a ''very big misunderstatement''. Since then, the episode hasn't been shown in reruns again or on streaming services and home media becuase of the negative response, though it might have also been because it was a one-off special.
