** The series was originally going to be a {{shared universe}} with Man of Action's other Cartoon Network series, ''Franchise/Ben10'', but toyline legal issues prevented this from coming to fruition. [[note]](''Ben 10'' toys were done by Playmates, while ''Generator Rex'' was under Toys/{{Mattel}}.)[[/note]] The two series would eventually meet in a crossover, but the shared universe idea wouldn't happen until ''WesternAnimation/Ben102016'', where younger versions of Rex, Robo, and Agent Six characters appear in one of its final episodes.

* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Only the first 9 episodes have ever been released to DVD; thankfully, the entire series is on iTunes and Creator/{{Netflix}}.[[note]] This includes the BonusEpisode "Rock My World", in case you were wondering. [[/note]] However, there are 2 missing episodes from the "Season 3" batch for some reason on iTunes, leaving the series incomplete on that service. Not only that, but only the episodes in "Season 5" are available to buy in HD for some reason, when the entire series was produced in the format.
