* AdoredByTheNetwork: Boomerang reliably ran reruns of this show until ''DC Super Hero Girls'' was removed from all platforms and sealed in the vaults as a tax write off. Unfortunately for fans, the new episodes premiered on Cartoon Network, which gave the show the opposite treatment and prevented anyone from ever seeing the second half of season two.

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: While both WB and the official accounts give the show plenty of promotion, Cartoon Network has not done a good job with promoting it. The show suffered from continually shifting timeslots and, after episode 13, only aired when there was a new episode. Episode premiers were arbitrarily pushed back and there was nary a rerun in sight outside of Boomerang on the weekends. Not helping is that some episodes premiered in other countries months before the US and the second half of Season 2 has yet to air; the last new episode premiered in October 2021. This is in stark contrast to how fellow DC series ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo'' gets treated on Cartoon Network which airs reruns daily and has advertisements for new episodes nearly every (if not just every) commercial break. Unfortunately, this would culminate in the show getting cancelled according to [[https://twitter.com/Fyre_flye/status/1555232679208947713 this tweet]] from Creator/LaurenFaust.

** Lauren Faust released a ''continuity guide'' when the first season was put on Netflix. Episode five was apparently supposed to be episode thirteen and episode nine was supposed to be ''twenty six''!

* DistancedFromCurrentEvents: While the short aired on Cartoon Network UK in October 27, 2019, poor timing resulted in "[=#AbraKachoo=]" never being posted on the franchise's [=YouTube=] channel with the rest of the Super Shorts due to the plot of Zatanna's sneezes causing her magic powers to wreak havoc at school being seen as uncomfortably reminiscent of the UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic.
