In the storyboard animatic, Sandy explaining Christmas to [=SpongeBob=] is just her casually explaining it, whereas in the final version, there are shots of her blowing raspberries, jumping on the table, growing muscles, stretching her mouth, running back and forth, and wiggling her arms. According to the DVDCommentary, this is because the episode animators thought what was provided for the scene in the storyboard was boring, and they wanted to make it funny.
