[[spoiler:Nasha ends up being a MoralityPet for both Akira and Sheryl and she's just made PersonaNonGrata and dropped off at the next city after a heart to heart with him.]]
** TheResenter of Akira in Sheryl's gang, Sebla, strikes a deal with the desperate to pay his debts hunter Guyver to work as this for him. [[spoiler: He uses EncounterBait to try and kill the rest of their combined party, and then being StrappedToABomb by Guyver to stun Akira for an ambush. Sebla ends up taking Sheryl hostage, being disabled in a DistractAndDisarm gambit, and then executed by Sheryl's KillHimAlready order.]]
** The terrorist Kain, in a new FullConversionCyborg body, takes up the name Nergo to infiltrate the PrivateMilitaryCompany Drankam to recruit, amongst investigating and other activities. [[spoiler:He serves as a SpannerInTheWorks to Viola by telling Katsuya about where she used Alna as TheBait for Akira.]] Much later, Nergo also [[spoiler:pulls a BrainTheft on Katsuya after Akira kills him, using BrainUploading to inhabit Katsuya's brain, in the hopes of becoming an old world connector himself, which fails, and he abandons the repaired head.]]

* In ''Anime/{{Gravion}}'', Mizuki Tachibana, a seemingly normal (except [[{{Gainaxing}} her breasts]]) MsFanservice, turns out to be a spy for TheFederation, feeding information of the titular mecha to create their own (since they distrusted the good guys despite having the same goal of protecting Earth). She is rewarded with a life of luxury, but quickly grew miserable and bored with it, prompting her to return to the good guys. Overall, she sees her stint as being NecessarilyEvil, she thought that the only way for the Gran Knights to prevail is to have them work together with the government that distrusted them and had to let the latter catch up with the Gran Knights technology-wise to be of any help.

* ''LightNovel/VampireHunterD'', in the 1985 film. While D is rescuing Dan from Rei Ginsei, Dr. Fehring takes Doris Lang to a safe location. When Dr. Fehring and Doris meet Count Magnus Lee's daughter Lamika, Dr. Fehring reveals that he was turned into a vampire the day before and turns Doris over to Lamika.
