** ''Series/KamenRiderKabuto''[=/=]Souji Tendou is a particularly grating version of this, [[UpToEleven cranked to 11]]. And he's ''the protagonist''. You end up rooting for the bad guys very, very quickly.
** Or you root for Kagami, who has to struggle through a long period fighting monsters with nothing but normal weapons until he finally gets a TransformationTrinket to call his own.
** Before Tendou, there was Jou Shigeru/''Series/KamenRiderStronger'', who was a self-absorbed Ace at the beginning of the series but grew to be a likeable hero like most Riders.
** After Tendou, ''Series/KamenRiderDecade'' a.k.a. Tsukasa Kadoya would've been one, if it wasn't subverted by the fact that his photos always come out wrong and he's always the target of the Hikari-style Laughing Pressure Point.
** Tsukasa, with a couple chinks in his armor you make him fun instead of a too perfect. Tendou really ''was'' as perfect in every way as he thought he was, which makes him fun sometimes, but it's also a weakness. It was also justified to some degree, as Tsukasa took on a different role in whatever world he went to. For example, the World of Series/KamenRiderKuuga had him as a police officer. So naturally he has to be good at a large variety of things to be able to pull that off.

** Tsukasa, with a couple chinks in ''Series/KamenRiderFourze'': Ryusei Sakuta presents himself as this during his armor you make him fun instead of a too perfect. Tendou really ''was'' as perfect in introductory period, being both an excellent martial artist and an apparent genius at just about every way as he thought he was, which makes him fun sometimes, but it's also a weakness. It was also justified to some degree, as Tsukasa took on a different role in whatever world he went to. For example, the World field of Series/KamenRiderKuuga had him as a police officer. So naturally he has to be good at a large variety of things to be able to pull study. He's actually not that off.intelligent, however: he's being backed up by his support staff via radio in order to gain the Kamen Rider Club's trust.
