** Aunt May always was very vocal about wanting Peter to end up with Mary Jane Watson. You could say that May started out as TheMatchmaker, as she and MJ's Aunt Anna set up Peter and MJ's first blind date and at the time Creator/StanLee did not yet intend Peter and MJ to become the OfficialCouple. When they finally did, during the original Clone Saga, May Parker gave Mary Jane a pep talk to fight for her man when Gwen Stacy apparently returned from the dead.
** Although Creator/RogerStern has gone on record as disliking the Watson-Parker romance, when he brought back Mary Jane to Peter's life in ''Amazing Spider-Man'' #242 as "just a friend", he immediately showed Aunt May, Aunt Anna, Peter's first love Betty and her husband Ned Leeds, and Liz Osborn all doing their best to bring the two back together as a couple. Peter (then busy with his romance with the Black Cat) and Mary Jane reacted with a mixture of annoyance and amusement, but what do you know? Not that long after they did get back together and four years after MJ's return they got married.

* The ComicBook/DisneyDucksComicUniverse ''ComicBook/DisneyDucksComicUniverse'' has a few:
** ''ComicBook/TheLifeAndTimesOfScroogeMcDuck'' and other stories show Donald wants Scrooge with Goldie... And, knowing Brigitta is in love with his uncle, sometimes tries to get her with someone else.

* In Marvel's ''Comicbook/TheMightyThor'' Thor's dad Odin shipped - and probably continues to ship - Thor with Sif, to the point that he set up a contest to prove to Thor that his mortal love interest, Jane Foster, simply couldn't keep up with the pantheon of Norse gods and goddesses.
* In ''[[ComicBook/NewMutants New X-Men: Academy X]]'', once Hellion finds out his teammate Mercury has a crush on Wither, he immediately becomes very supportive of it (despite distrusting Wither seconds ago), and even makes a few subtle moves to encourage Wither to return her feelings.
** Mercury later returned the favour, shipping Hellion with X-23 (though he [[SheIsNotMyGirlfriend didn't quite appreciate that at the time]]). Dust feels the same way.

* The ComicBook/DisneyDucksComicUniverse has a few:
** Donald wants Scrooge with Goldie... And, knowing Brigitta is in love with his uncle, sometimes tries to get her with someone else.
** The nephews are vocal supporters of their uncle's relationship with Daisy, that they openly call "aunt".
** In the Reginella stories, Scrooge is openly a supporter of Donald's relationship with Reginella (Daisy's only serious rival).
** The two times Goldie has met Brigitta, she has helped her with Scrooge, as Goldie already had some happiness from him (and possibly a daughter) and Brigitta deserves a break.
* ''Comicbook/{{Empowered}}'': Caged Demonwolf has some very strong opinions regarding how the Emp/Ninjette/[=ThugBoy=] LoveTriangle [[OT3 should be resolved]].
* ''Franchise/GreenLantern'': Star Sapphire Mirri Riam ships Kyle Rayner and Soranik Natu. This was fine for a while, but when they broke up it went badly. She was so dedicated to her OTP that she [[spoiler:''ravaged a planet'' to force them to work together and rekindle their romance.]] When she told Kyle and Soranik her reasons they understandably thought she was insane.
* ''ComicBook/TheLegendOfWonderWoman2016'': Once Etta realizes ComicBook/SteveTrevor has a crush on Diana she starts shipping them hard and does everything she can to get Diana to notice and reciprocate Steve's feelings, especially since she has an inkling long before that Diana liked him too.

* ''ComicBook/RiversOfLondon'': In the "Tales from the Folly" bonus strip from issue #2 of ''Action at a Distance'', it is revealed that Molly is writing stories about Peter and Nightingale being romantic towards each other.
* ''Comicbook/{{Runaways}}'':
** Nico briefly ships Victor and Lillie, a New York girl from the 1800s.
** Pretty much all of the earlier Runaways shipped Gert and Chase.
** Molly seemed to ship Xavin and Karolina first. The other Runaways seemed to join her once they realized that Xavin really wasn't going to kidnap or enslave Karolina.
* In ''ComicBook/ScottPilgrim'', Scott's roommate Wallace seems to be fond of Scott/Ramona.
* A [[http://sonic.wikia.com/wiki/Archie_Sonic_Universe_Issue_58#Off_Panel side comic]] in ''[[ComicBook/ArchieComicsSonicTheHedgehog Sonic Universe #58]]'' has Marine shipping Blaze with Silver; Blaze [[ShipSinking sinks]] [[KillItWithFire it with fire]].
* Franchise/SpiderMan has had many a people shipping him with any woman he has had ShipTease with.
** Later ''ComicBook/SpiderMan'' stories have had Mary Jane become a Peter/Carlie shipper, [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy despite her own feelings for Peter]].
** [[Comicbook/MsMarvel2014 Kamala Khan]] ships her idol, the previous heroine to bear the title of Ms. Marvel, [[Comicbook/MsMarvel Carol Danvers]], with him. She pestered him with questions on them on a date. The two did have a date and some mild flirting. Venom, after symbiote briefly took control of Carol, acted as one as he turns off Spidey's BerserkButton of hurting his loved ones by suggesting Carol has feelings for him. She never denied it, but they ended up as just friends, though Peter seems to wish it went all the way.
** Anna Marconi tells a clueless Peter that Mockingbird, Bobbi Morse, that she seems to be interested in him. She decides to wrap her arm around him to get Bobbi jealous.
* In the ''Comicbook/StarTrekIDW'' comics, Kirk is shown to be quite supportive of Spock and Uhura's relationship, ordering them to spend some time together after Spock risked his life on a mission, and asking Spock how badly Uhura took of Spock shaving his head bald for another mission.
* A few people are this for Katchoo and Francine at various points in ''ComicBook/StrangersInParadise''; the moment where David and Casey handcuff the two together to hash out their differences is probably the most extreme occasion.
* During a period in TheNineties when Franchise/{{Superman}} and Comicbook/LoisLane had split up, [[GreatGazoo Mr. Mxyzptlk]] of all people, tried to push them back together. Being an annoying trickster, this was not appreciated and he was firmly told that they'd resolve their problems in their own time.

* The {{Elseworlds}} story ''ComicBook/SupermanRedSon'' briefly had UsefulNotes/JosefStalin of all people ship Franchise/{{Superman}}[=/=]Franchise/WonderWoman.
* ''ComicBook/UltimateSpiderMan''
** Gwen Stacy supported Peter and Mary Jane, proving MJ's insecurities about Gwen and Peter's relationship to be unfounded.
** In his first appearance, uncle Ben ships Peter and Mary Jane together.
* ''Franchise/XMen'':
** The majority of the ''ComicBook/XMen'' supported ComicBook/{{Gambit}} and ComicBook/{{Rogue}}'s relationship especially Storm, Pyslocke, Jubilee, Kitty, Iceman and Nightcrawler. Even X-23 [[NotSoStoic got emotional]] [[spoiler:when Gambit and Rogue [[HappilyMarried exchanged]] vows.]] [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]] by Pixie in a earlier issue when Gambit and Rogue had a SuggestiveCollision in the Training Room
--->'''Armor''': Uh. Should we leave? This feels five kinds of inappropriate.\\
'''Pixie''': No way. This is amazing.\\
'''Armor''': Are they even dating?\\
'''Pixie''': God I hope so. So hot.
** ComicBook/{{Wolverine}} generally tends to stay out of the romantic lives of his fellow ComicBook/XMen, but when Peter Rasputin and Kitty Pryde came downstairs for breakfast the morning after [[TheyDo they finally did the deed]], [[DidYouJustHaveSex he could smell it on them]]. His two-word reaction: "'Bout time."
** [[ComicBook/WeaponX2017 Weapon X]] has ''{{ComicBook/Domino}}'' shipping ''{{ComicBook/Sabretooth}}'' & ''ComicBook/MonetStCroix''. When she hears Deathstrike call Monet Victor's ex-girlfriend, she instantly replies with an "Awww!" She found it adorable & even stuck around for the mission to find Monet simply for that reason, despite being ready to quit the team earlier. The following chapter, Creed sheepishly tells Monet it really is good to see her, and Domino again responds with an excited "Awww!" Then she [[LoveInformant tells Monet]] about how Victor wanted to save her, and how [[EveryoneCanSeeIt none of them believed him]] when he was talking about her [[JustFriends only being a "friend."]]
** In ''X-Men: First Class'' Iceman (Bobby Drake) and his then HeterosexualLifePartner Beast (Henry "Hank" [=McCoy=]) actually debated who they believed Comicbook/JeanGrey should be shipped with, or at least who she shipped herself with. Beast believed Jean liked Warren Worthington III/Angel, while Iceman believed (correctly) that she preferred Scott Summers[=/=]ComicBook/{{Cyclops}}.
