** The majority of the ''ComicBook/XMen'' supported ComicBook/{{Gambit}} and ComicBook/{{Rogue}}'s relationship especially Storm, Pyslocke, Jubilee, Kitty, Iceman and Nightcrawler. Even X-23 [[NotSoStoic got emotional]] [[spoiler:when Gambit and Rogue [[HappilyMarried exchanged]] vows.]] [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]] by Pixie in a earlier issue when Gambit and Rogue had a SuggestiveCollision in the Training Room

When she hears Deathstrike call Monet Victor's ex-girlfriend, she instantly replies with an "Awww!" She found it adorable & even stuck around for the mission to find Monet simply for that reason, despite being ready to quit the team earlier. The following chapter, Creed sheepishly tells Monet it really is good to see her, and Domino again responds with an excited "Awww!" Then she [[LoveInformant tells Monet]] about how Victor wanted to save her, and how [[EveryoneCanSeeIt none of them believed him]] when he was talking about her [[JustFriends only being a "friend."]]

In the main universe, Sinister wanted Scott and Jean to have a powerful baby together (so he could defeat ComicBook/{{Apocalypse}} in the BadFuture) and wasn't even deterred by Jean being dead at that point, as he just cloned Jean, creating the EvilKnockOff Madelyne Prior who gave birth to ComicBook/{{Cable}}.

** In Issue 54, Quake Woman's sister, Vesper Woman, assumed Proto Man was Quake Woman's boyfriend. Quake Woman does reply with "[[ShesNotMyGirlfriend He's NOT my boyfriend!]]", but given how Quake Woman is the only person Proto Man ever talked to about his problems, Vesper Woman can only hope...

** [[Comicbook/MsMarvel2014 Kamala Khan]] ships her idol, the previous heroine to bear the title of Ms. Marvel, [[Comicbook/MsMarvel Carol Danvers]], with Peter. She pestered him with questions about them on a date. The two did have a date and some mild flirting. Venom, after the symbiote briefly took control of Carol, acted as one when he turns on Spidey's BerserkButton of hurting his loved ones by suggesting Carol has feelings for him. She never denied it, but they ended up as just friends, though Peter seems to wish it went all the way.

* In Archie's ''ComicBook/MegaMan'' comic, Quake Woman is often shipped by other robots with a Light Robot Master:

** Aunt May always was very vocal about wanting Peter to end up with Mary Jane Watson. You could say that May started out as TheMatchmaker, as she and MJ's Aunt Anna set up Peter and MJ's first blind date and at the time Creator/StanLee did not yet intend Peter and MJ to become the OfficialCouple. When they finally did, during the original Clone Saga, May Parker gave Mary Jane a pep talk to fight for her man when Gwen Stacy apparently returned from the dead.
** Although Creator/RogerStern has gone on record as disliking the Watson-Parker romance, when he brought back Mary Jane to Peter's life in ''Amazing Spider-Man'' #242 as "just a friend", he immediately showed Aunt May, Aunt Anna, Peter's first love Betty and her husband Ned Leeds, and Liz Osborn all doing their best to bring the two back together as a couple. Peter (then busy with his romance with the Black Cat) and Mary Jane reacted with a mixture of annoyance and amusement, but what do you know? Not that long after they did get back together and four years after MJ's return they got married.

* In Marvel's ''Comicbook/TheMightyThor'' Thor's dad Odin shipped - and probably continues to ship - Thor with Sif, to the point that he set up a contest to prove to Thor that his mortal love interest, Jane Foster, simply couldn't keep up with the pantheon of Norse gods and goddesses.
* In ''[[ComicBook/NewMutants New X-Men: Academy X]]'', once Hellion finds out his teammate Mercury has a crush on Wither, he immediately becomes very supportive of it (despite distrusting Wither seconds ago), and even makes a few subtle moves to encourage Wither to return her feelings.
** Mercury later returned the favour, shipping Hellion with X-23 (though he [[SheIsNotMyGirlfriend didn't quite appreciate that at the time]]). Dust feels the same way.

The list includes, but is not limited to, ComicBook/BlackCanary, [[ComicBook/{{Robin}} Tim Drake]], [[ComicBook/{{Batgirl2000}} Cassandra Cain]], [[ComicBook/WonderGirl Donna Troy]], and [[ComicBook/{{Huntress}} Helena Bertinelli]]. Bonus to the last one on the list for getting on board immediately after having a one-night stand with [[ReallyGetsAround Nightwing]].

* In the ''Comicbook/StarTrekIDW'' comics, Kirk is shown to be quite supportive of Spock and Uhura's relationship, ordering them to spend some time together after Spock risked his life on a mission, and asking Spock how badly Uhura took of Spock shaving his head bald for another mission.

* During a period in TheNineties when Franchise/{{Superman}} and Comicbook/LoisLane had split up, [[GreatGazoo Mr. Mxyzptlk]] of all people, tried to push them back together. Being an annoying trickster, this was not appreciated and he was firmly told that they'd resolve their problems in their own time.

And if you got in the way of what she saw as true love, it could prove a costly - even fatal - mistake, though she may not always be aware she killed you...
