* MotorMouth: History teacher George "Terrible" Testaverde is played by John Moschitta, Jr., and accordingly speaks at several hundred words per minute during his lectures - which is a bit of a problem when his exams involve essay questions on those lectures. In "The Gift", we see him give a class on the American Revolution from the Boston Tea Party to the Battle of Yorktown, but he speaks so quickly that by the end, the students have given up trying to take notes and thrown down their pencils in despair - except Jessie, who is writing so quickly her pencil is giving off smoke.

* EcocidalAntagonist: In the "Pipe Dreams" episode, oil is discovered on school property. When a representative from the oil company makes a presentation to the PTA showing the nice new campus Bayside will have if they allow the company to drill, Zack places multiple oil derricks in the campus model and announces to the committee that an oil spill already occurred and killed all of the animals his science class released into the wild. The man from the company brushes it aside, noting that "accidents happen". Zack then "accidentally" spills oil on his suit.

Extraverted Nerd was disambig'd per TRS

''Saved by the Bell'' is a sitcom that aired on Creator/{{NBC}} from August 1989 to May 1993. Heavily inspired by the films of Creator/JohnHughes, the show centered around the spokespersons from each of the archetypal cliques: [[BigManOnCampus The Beefcake]], [[AllGuysWantCheerleaders The Cheerleader]], TheFashionista, [[SoapboxSadie The Revolutionary]], [[ExtravertedNerd The Nerd]]--and most importantly, [[HighSchoolHustler The Hustler]], as embodied by the [[FourthWallObserver fourth-wall breaking, time-freezing]] Zack Morris. In spite of its achingly outdated ([[TotallyRadical even for the time]]) '80s fashions and lingo, it remains the [[TropeCodifier archetype]] of the TV HighSchool, to the point where it is widely [[http://www.x-entertainment.com/messages/486.html theorized]] that the entire ''Saved by the Bell'' universe is contained within Bayside High, and that Zack is, in fact, [[MemeticBadass God.]]

* ClingyJealousGirl: In "Date Auction", the boys [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin participate in a date auction]], and not one girl bids on Slater, until Kelly does out of pity. This despite him being a star wrestler and being good friends with [[BigManOnCampus Zack]]. That is justified as Jessie threatened every girl in school not to bid on Slater because she was opposed to the idea of a date auction for some reason. Kelly was the only one willing to to stand up to Jessie about it. Jessie initially plays it off as feminist disapproval, but it's quickly made clear she was being jealously possessive of Slater.

* Retool: When the show moved from Disney Channel to NBC, the writers wanted to add two new female characters. One of them was Kelly Kapowski. The other was going to be a white, rich, Jewish girl. However, when the producers decided to keep Lark Voorhies, they rewrote Lisa Turtle as a rich girl without the Jewish beliefs. The character of Jesse Spano was a last minute addition after Elizabeth Berkley's successful audition for the Kelly Kapowski role.
