''Ms. Marvel'' is an upcoming {{Superhero}} series developed by Bisha K. Ali (''Series/{{Loki}}'') for Creator/DisneyPlus. It is the 35th overall entry in the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse, the twelfth installment of Phase Four, and the seventh series produced by Creator/MarvelStudios. It is the second Disney+ series after ''Series/MoonKnight'' not to be based on a previously established MCU character. The series is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (''Film/BadBoysForLife''), Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and Meera Menon.

The series centers on [[ComicBook/MsMarvel2014 Kamala Khan]] (Iman Vellani), an OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent and major fangirl of superheroes… especially [[Film/CaptainMarvel Carol Danvers, AKA Captain Marvel]]. Her life changes forever when she herself gets strange powers of her own.

Aramis Knight, Matt Lintz, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur also Star. The series is set to premiere on June 8, 2022. Following the season, Kamala is expected to join Carol Danvers (Creator/BrieLarson) and [[Series/WandaVision Monica Rambeau]] (Creator/TeyonahParris) in ''Film/TheMarvels'' in 2023.

'''Previews:''' [[https://youtu.be/m9EX0f6V11Y Official Trailer 1]]

!!This series provides examples of:
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: In the comics, Kamala only had the power to change the size of her body. Here, she has the power to create crystalline constructs, as well as having traces of her regular powers.
* AlphaBitch: Zoe Zimmer, much like in the comics. The trailer even gives her a convenient pair of neon devil horns, just to hammer the point home.
* {{Joisey}}: As Kamala says, she's a "brown girl from Jersey."
* PronouncingMyNameForYou: The first trailer has Kamala saying her name is pronounced "kuh-MAH-luh" rather than the more well-known "KAH-muh-luh."
* ShirtlessScene: A boy Kamala has a crush on.
