While it's said that fracking in the town is affecting the water, it's implied that the crocodile tears drug is involved.]]

This season is split into two parts: 'Ascended' focusing on new characters who had been part of a failed rebellion against Harmonia and are now just picking up the pieces; and 'Legacy', focusing on Laura, Em Pegg, Billy, and Tibby, relieving memories from between 1992 and 2021, while not being able to remember the events of 1991.
