''Degrassi: The Next Generation'' (known as simply ''[[OfficiallyShortenedTitle Degrassi]]'' from seasons 10-14), is the fourth entry of the [[LongRunner long running]] {{Canadian|Series}} TeenDrama franchise ''Franchise/{{Degrassi}}''. A revival of the 80s/90s CultClassic ''Series/DegrassiJuniorHigh'' and ''Series/DegrassiHigh'', the show was produced by Epitome Pictures and aired in Canada by Creator/{{CTV}} (2001-09), [[UsefulNotes/CanadianMultichannelNetworks MuchMusic]] (2010-2013), and [[Creator/{{MTV}} MTV Canada]] (2013-2015) in a DramaticHalfHour format. In the U.S, it was broadcast on Creator/{{Noggin}}'s teen block, The N, beginning in 2002. It was carried over to the successor channel Creator/TeenNick in 2009.
