** Season 4's "Sorry, Bro" can be seen as a sequel of sorts to the previous season's "The Platinum Rule". Both episodes have almost identical framing devices, in which the gang sits at the bar while telling each other four stories, all while trying to convince Ted of something. Also, while Ted and Marshall's stories in "Sorry, Bro" are completely new, Barney and Robin explore the aftermath of their stories from "The Platinum Rule".
