* With a name like Droopy and a disinterested face like his, it's easy for bad guys to assume that Droopy is an easy schmuck to take care of. Beneath that exterior of his, there is a dog who doesn't go down without a fight and has plenty of tricks to use to his advantage. One notable quirk is being able to show up right in front of the villain's face moments after the baddies have believed themselves to be rid of Droopy. He's also very strong for someone his size and will go for directly attacking the villains if they do something to truly incur his wrath. Despite his lackadaisical looks, Droopy has a good heart and is willing to lend a paw in taking down whoever is causing problems for others.

* Droopy was minding his own business one day when he received an invitation for a party that promised excitement far greater than anything he could have imagined. He didn't have much of a reaction to what the invitation promised, but he still went anyway, likely out of curiosity. Droopy eventually arrived at a high-rise on the highest floor and met the figure who sent him the invitation and was promptly locked in a high-security vault by the person in question. Whoever sent Droopy the invite really didn't like him, but a few seconds after locking the vault, the person ended up seeing Droopy looking none worse for the wear right in front of them and the baddie ended up being shocked at that sight. The villain thought to themselves that there was no way someone with a look and attitude like that could easily teleport out of that inescapable room after checking and proceeded not only to throw Droopy back in, but to physically take the room and throw it far away from their sight. That did nothing to stop Droopy and it got to a point where no matter how much the baddie tried to flee him, Droopy was always right in front of them and they ended up being driven insane from what had transpired. It turned out that the person who sent the invitations was a wanted criminal and Droopy ended up getting the award money from it. While he was thinking about a nice place to relax after what happened, he openly showed and said that he was happy about what he got.

*Mickey has done a lot throughout his career ranging from helping his friends out with down-to-earth odd jobs to saving the world against dangerous foes in high-stakes adventures. Being involved with the Pantheon has added to the workload of not just himself, but others that he is both familiar with and had never met until now. There have been plenty of hangouts for heroes and villains to visit to wind down, with some dedicated solely to heroes or villains and others letting both in provided things don't get out of control. With how many people Mickey has met over the years, The Sensational Six figured it was time to bring the House of Mouse to the Pantheon as a venue where anyone of all ages (and all species for that matter) can relax and be entertained.
*While the place is frequented by Disney heroes, their enemies have regularly visited the place when they aren't busy with villainy and even someone as omnicidal as The Horned King is welcome provided they behave themselves. The Sensational Six's arch-rival Pete is the House of Mouse's landlord who has tried and failed repeatedly to shut down the place. Not only was it a question as to why he would do it, but so was the fact that he was still trying to make things problematic for the other guests and why Mickey never tried to find another landlord for that House. With the Pantheon greatly expanding the guest list for the House of Mouse, Mickey isn't that bothered by Pete's attempts to shut down the place and has chalked things up to Pete wanting to amuse himself.
*As much of a nice guy Mickey is in regards to that flexible guest list, even he and his friends had to forbid a few deities from going near the House of Mouse. Judge Doom was immediately blacklisted from the place due to his hatred of toons and wanting to destroy them. The Cogs' connection with Doom and wanting to destroy fun and laughter also got them banned. As with anything in the Pantheon, being banned from particular spots hasn't stopped those baddies from wanting to carry out their goals at the expense of others. While many guests at the House of Mouse are there to relax, they aren't defenseless thanks to their abilities and even Mickey and his friends have learned a few things of their own from their numerous adventures that have helped in defending the place from horrifying troublemakers.

* Black Jack is among the best doctors out there, but there are plenty of unusual things about him. In addition to his distinct white and black hair alongside some facial scars that are the result of a fatal landmine accident that killed his mother (and he won't remove said scars), he doesn't have a medical license and will charge a lot of money for his services. He also has a surrogate daughter/assistant named Pinoko, who was previously a parasitic tumor before Black Jack built an artificial body to house her organs. Despite his hardened personality and troubled life due to witnessing humanity's worst traits through war and other violent events, he remains dedicated to saving people's lives, is willing to help someone learn a lesson to better themselves, and has the resources needed to perform a medical operation on his patients (and sometimes himself) no matter how outlandish the condition may be.
* While at his home one day, Black Jack would get a phone call from an unknown patient asking for his help since many of the other doctors that looked at his condition had trouble trying to get him better. The doctor and Pinoko would end up traveling several miles to meet the person that called him and when they arrived, they found themselves in a city that was different from what they were used to. They ended up meeting one of the doctors that tried to help the patient in question and were led to the hospital that the patient was at. They learned about many unusual conditions that were treated there, including species that they had never met previously before they met the patient who needed the operation. Once the exorbitant fee was paid to Black Jack, he performed the operation with the help of other skilled surgeons to successfully cure the ill patient. Pinoko found herself intrigued by the new things she witnessed and when she asked Black Jack about it, he responded by saying that he had a feeling that they'll be back in this strange place again and that arrangements were made to ensure that the two would have an easier time revisiting it when the time comes.

* Cybernetization has become a prominent part of the future, with people gaining cybernetic upgrades to varying degrees and cyberbrains allowing them to access various networks. With that kind of technology available, strife related to them is bound to occur and that’s where Public Security Section 9 comes in. A counterterrorism unit led by Daisuke Aramaki that’s part of Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and having former military officers, forensic scientists, and police detectives as some members of that group, Section 9 is dispatched whenever crimes related to cybernetics occur and information about the unit and its members are kept top secret. Despite the fact that they have broken a lot of laws doing their job, it’s clear Section 9 doesn’t hesitate in keeping the public safe even amidst a corrupt government.
* Cyberspace is a vast world that is always expanding thanks to Major Motoko Kusanagi’s explorations of such. It wouldn’t be long before she found a heavily guarded file created by an unknown author on the net and with warnings of another crime wave on the horizon, it was up to Section 9 to see if there was any connection between the files and the threat they were up against. It was a difficult endeavor for the team as some members were physically investigating any connection someone may have with the files while others focused on getting access to the files. Section 9 was eventually able to get access to them, but the Major ended up suffering an information overload due to some of the data being corrupted and had to be pulled out from the net before she ended up getting damaged further. The files, which had “Pantheon” as its codename and was written by many authors under multiple pseudonyms in an attempt to cover their tracks, contained information about many other worlds and how Section 9 was connected to it. It was also discovered that some of the writers for that file were planning to not only attack cyberspace, but the worlds outside of it. With more political intrigue and technological advances headed their way, Section 9 had their work cut out for them even if it didn’t take a lot of time to adjust to being part of a larger world.
* When it comes to stopping crime in a futuristic dystopia, Section 9 and Judge Dredd are dedicated to their mission related to such, but go about it in very different ways. Corruption within the higher-ups is commonplace for both Section 9 and Dredd, but while Section 9 is more than willing to do the right thing whenever the opportunity presents itself, Dredd adheres to the laws as given to him, even if he knows that there’s issues with them. Section 9 is also primarily focused on going after cyberterrorism thanks to the technology they have with them while Dredd has mainly dealt with crimes that happen on the streets. Dredd has sometimes questioned how people working for what is described as a government organization are willing to step outside of the law to combat danger, but given the dangers cyberterrorism poses to others and how different it is from street-level crimes, Dredd and Section 9 have their work cut out for them in case something happens that leads both parties to meet each other.
* (Sibyl System)
* Besides the various cyberterrorism plots that have been going on, political corruption is another problem Section 9 has dealt with on a regular basis. While some political figures such as Kazundo Gouda stirred up trouble to get attention for themselves, there were others in the Pantheon who had far more dangerous intentions for carrying out political trouble. Section 9 has dealt with problems related to the American Empire on occasion and there was one American politician in the Pantheon by the name of Frank Underwood that Aramaki found to be a significant issue if they needed to confront any plan he’s carrying out. Underwood is highly skilled at manipulation and Aramaki’s political expertise was something Underwood wasn’t going to take lightly if it meant finding a way to gain an advantage over Section 9 when it comes to the technological aspects of the Pantheon.

* Takashi Shimamura is a posthuman, a group of humans who skipped some evolutionary levels to become more advanced, and has his own ambitions that made him and the other posthumans a notable danger for Section 9. He created an online app that allows users to determine who should be punished for some sort of crime and sought to create a world free of conflict that would allow everyone to live in harmony. The notion of something comparable to Think Pol in the hands of ordinary civilians, especially if said civilians exhibit violent tendencies, was scary enough as is, but The Major was curious about rumors involving a cab driver that once harbored great ambitions and decided to look into it during off-hours. This led her to meet Takuto Maruki, and during a cab ride to an unknown destination, Motoko decided to tell Maruki the story of everything that happened regarding Shimamura. Maruki was intrigued at the notion of someone who had a similar goal that he had, even if Motoko refused to answer whether or not she put a stop to Shimamura’s plans. As the trip came to an end, Maruki remarked that it was interesting hearing from the perspective of someone else the possibility of what could have happened if his own plans succeeded and Motoko pondered what could happen if another meeting between them would happen if Maruki had the motivation to carry out his former plans.
* (former military background)
* (Major Kusanagi) Major Motoko Kusanagi, often referred to as simply The Major, is one of Section 9’s top members in terms of combat capabilities and was fully converted into a cyborg at a young age following a deadly accident, though she may have been cyberized before she was even born.
* (Batou) Batou has plenty of strength to go along with his muscular appearance having known the Major for a long time, he harbors an attraction to her even if any sort of success on the romance front isn’t likely.
* (Togusa: traditional cop, team normal, dedication to job) Unlike the other members of Section 9, Togusa is a cop who doesn't have much in the way of cybernetic upgrades, essentially making him a traditional human in the team.
* (Aramaki: strategists) Daisuke Aramaki is the leader of Section 9 and is responsible for sending the team into action and handles the various political going-ons related to him and the organization.
* (Ishikawa: non-action members, mission control) While Ishikawa doesn’t go out on the field that much compared to the rest of the team, he still plays a notable role in their missions via gathering information, hacking, and being mission control for the others.
* Saito is the team sniper and uses his cybernetic eye (which according to him was the result of losing a sniper duel against the Major prior to Section 9’s formation) to find his targets and carry out his shots. It didn’t take long for him to learn about other highly skilled snipers across the Pantheon and while some prefer to operate on their own, others are tied to an organization or take their missions from some kind of benefactor. Saito’s electronic eye has helped him find targets, but the possibility that some rival sniper could intercept him while he’s distracted was something he had to prepare for in order to prevent any additional mistakes on his end while working for Section 9. Some of the other snipers (mainly the more unscrupulous ones) have noted that a one-eyed sniper makes for an interesting rival and that getting around his cybernetic upgrades will make for an entertaining challenge if they are tasked to intercept whatever Section 9 is doing.
* The Tachikomas are AI think-tanks that accompany Section 9 on their missions, mixing together firepower, child-like curiosity, and philosophical musings about the nature of AI in general. There are other similar models that the team has used such as Fuchikomas, Uchikomas (which ended up being ineffective), and Logicomas, but the Tachikomas have been the primary think-tanks Section 9 takes for their assignments. Initially regarded as mere machines, their substantial growth in intelligence and individuality has helped them become part of the team and the Pantheon was a place that they are greatly fascinated by. There were plenty of other [=AIs=] that they would learn about and while some shared the same kind of benevolence as the Tachikomas (if not their enthusiasm and curiosity), there were just as many [=AIs=] that posed a great threat to not just the Tachikomas, but Section 9 as a whole. The Tachikomas’ penchant for philosophical musings bewildered plenty in the Pantheon, with the most intellectual and/or technologically-inclined being able to keep up with what these tanks have to say.

* CybernetizationSomewhere in the small town of Patience, located somewhere in North America, an alien has become a prominent part of crash landed and is hiding among the future, with people gaining cybernetic upgrades locals while trying to varying degrees and cyberbrains allowing them to access figure out his next course of action. Taking the identity of town doctor Harry Vanderspeigle, the alien finds himself involved in various networks. With unusual events that kind of technology available, strife related to them is bound to occur and that’s where Public Security Section 9 comes in. A counterterrorism unit led by Daisuke Aramaki that’s part of Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and having former military officers, forensic scientists, and police detectives as some members of that group, Section 9 is dispatched whenever crimes related to cybernetics occur and information about are affecting the unit and its members are kept top secret.
Section 9 was eventually able to get access to them,town. Not only that, but the Major ended up suffering mere existence of an information overload due to some of alien hiding somewhere has gotten the data being corrupted attention of others, both within the town and had to be pulled out from the net before she ended up getting damaged further. With more political intrigue and technological advances headed their way, Section 9 had their work cut out for them even if Whether he likes it didn’t take a lot of or not, his time to adjust to being part of a larger world.
* When it comes to stopping crimein a futuristic dystopia, Section 9 and Judge Dredd are dedicated to their mission related to such, but go about it in very different ways.
* (Sibyl System)

Maruki was intrigued at the notion of someone who had a similar goal that he had, even if Motoko refused to answer whether orPatience will not she put a stop to Shimamura’s plans. As the trip came to an end, Maruki remarked that it was interesting hearing from the perspective of someone else the possibility of what could have happened if his own plans succeeded and Motoko pondered what could happen if another meeting between them would happen if Maruki had the motivation to carry out his former plans.

It didn’t take long foronly lead him to learn about other highly skilled snipers across becoming the Pantheon and while some prefer to operate on their own, others are tied to an organization or take their missions from some kind of benefactor. Saito’s electronic eye best hope the town has helped him find targets, but the possibility that some rival sniper could intercept him while he’s distracted was something he had to prepare for in order to prevent any additional mistakes on his end while working for Section 9.
Despite James’ expertise in defusing explosives, his recklessness in the battlefield causes friction between him and his squad mates, not helped by the horrors of war that they witness and the fact that they’re unable to successfully defuse every explosive they can find. *Cyberspace is a vast world that is always expanding thanks to Major Motoko Kusanagi’s explorations of such.
*When it comes to stopping crime in a futuristic dystopia, Section 9 and Judge Dredd are dedicated to their mission related to such, but go about it in very different ways.
*(Sibyl System)
*Besides the various cyberterrorism plots that have been going on, political corruption is another problem Section 9 has dealt with on a regular basis.
*(Adam Jensen)
*(cyberspace)
*(hackers)
*Takashi Shimamura is a posthuman, a group of humans who skipped some evolutionary levels to become more advanced, and has his own ambitions that made him and the other posthumans a notable danger for Section 9.
*(former military background)
*(Major Kusanagi) Major Motoko Kusanagi, often referred to as simply The Major, is one of Section 9’s top members in terms of combat capabilities and was fully converted into a cyborg at a young age following a deadly accident, though she may have been cyberized before she was even born.
*(Batou) Batou has plenty of strength to go along with his muscular appearance having known the Major for a long time, he harbors an attraction to her even if any sort of success on the romance front isn’t likely.
*(Togusa: traditional cop, team normal, dedication to job) Unlike the other members of Section 9, Togusa is a cop who doesn't have much in the way of cybernetic upgrades, essentially making him a traditional human in the team.
*(Aramaki: strategists) Daisuke Aramaki is the leader of Section 9 and is responsible for sending the team into action and handles the various political going-ons related to him and the organization.
*(Ishikawa: non-action members, mission control) While Ishikawa doesn’t go out on the field that much compared to the rest of the team, he still plays a notable role in their missions via gathering information, hacking, and being mission control for the others.
*Saito is the team sniper and uses his cybernetic eye (which according to him was the result of losing a sniper duel against the Major prior to Section 9’s formation) to find his targets and carry out his shots.
*The Tachikomas are AI think-tanks that accompany Section 9 on their missions, mixing together firepower, child-like curiosity, and philosophical musings about the nature of AI in general.

* Lonely woodcarver Geppetto makes a puppet modeled after a little boy from a log he received, but thanks to some magic, the puppet comes to life and would be known as Pinocchio. At first, Pinocchio has a very mischievous personality, often getting in trouble at the expense of himself or Geppetto. As he gets involved in further adventures including turning into a donkey and getting swallowed by a giant sea monster, he learns more about himself and becomes a better person with the help of a blue fairy. Pinocchio would eventually turn into a real boy, but no matter what happens before those adventures and sometimes after it, he’s the closest thing to a son that Geppetto never had (or previously had in some cases).

*Lupin III is the descendant of famed thief Arsene Lupin who is just as skilled as his predecessor when it comes to breaking, entering, and stealing things he finds worthwhile. Joining him is snarky but loyal gunman Daisuke Jigen, stoic swordsman Goemon Ishikawa XIII, and sultry wild card Fujiko Mine while pursuing the team is ICPO Inspector Koichi Zenigata, who is determined to put Lupin behind bars. No matter where this cast of characters end up around the world, adventure always awaits them, particularly in the form of a dangerous enemy who is after something much more than just riches. For someone like Lupin who enjoys the thrill and difficulty of such adventures, he wouldn’t have it any other way.

*In heaven, would-be boys are given blue hearts while would-be girls are given pink hearts before their lives on Earth begin. Thanks to the mischief of Tink, Sapphire ends up having both a blue heart and a pink heart, resulting in Tink being sent down to Earth to make sure Sapphire stays out of trouble. Sapphire being raised as a heir to the throne in Silverland while having personality traits of both a boy and a girl has made her a target for others, including the scheming Duke Duralumin who wants his son to inherit the throne and demons such as Mephisto and Madame Hell who are after Sapphire’s blue heart for their not-so-evil daughter Hecate. No matter how much Sapphire is cornered, her free-spirited personality has often helped her get out of tricky situations and helped Silverland prosper in the face of corruption.

Mob has had these powers since he was young, but a terrible event involving his brother Ritsu resulted in Mob trying to hide these powers, suppress his own emotions, and live an ordinary life as much as possible. His life would take a turn after meeting eccentric businessman Reigen Arataka, helping him take on various spiritual entities. As Mob’s partnership with Reigen grows, he forges new friendships, takes on dangerous enemies, and comes to terms with his power and how he wants to live his life.

* In the mystical land of Thra, there exist many fantastical creatures, among them include the Gelflings, elf-like creatures who have numerous clans of their own. Keeping the land of Thra at ease was the Crystal of Truth, but that peace would gradually deteriorate thanks to it being in the hands of the Skeksis, the malevolent rulers of Thra who took advantage of the Gelflings. Upon the discovery that Gelfling essence could be used to extend the Skeksis’ lifespan (and make those tyrants more likely to be immortal), numerous Gelflings resisted the Skeksis’ reign of terror. As time passed, Thra fell further into ruin as the Skeksis held on to power and nearly all the Gelflings were wiped out save for two: Jen and Kira. With the help of the Mystics, a pacifistic race of creatures who raised Jen and have an unusual link to the Skeksis, the two were able to repair the Crystal and from there, the Skeksis and the Mystics were merged once more into the [=urSkeks=], a mysterious race of alien-like creatures who landed in Thra.
