The Struggle Against Mecha Insano is a long-running play-by-post roleplay on WebVideo/TheSpoonyExperiment forums. Originally started by Megafighter3 in 2010, it was meant to be a story about the forum members in a dystopian future run by Dr. Insano, and more used as supplemental while he worked on a larger fic using the Channel Awesome contributors. However, the roleplay would later be taken over by the other players after Mega departed (he would later come back to kill off his character) and they went above and beyond, resulting in a fully completed story and two sequel RPs (Mecha Dawn and Rise of Mecha Insano) which followed the children of the original RPs characters. As of writing the RP is currently on hiatus and unfinished.
