Hokuto, Masumi and Yaiba face off against Shun Kurosaki (Shay) at last, engaging him in a three-on-one Battle Royale duel. Though they manage to wipe out Kurosaki's field and bring their ace monsters into play on their first turns, even their skills are no match for Kurosaki, who is able to block their damage and prevent defeat by using one of his destroyed traps in the graveyard, at a heavy price of all but 10 Life Points. On his next turn, he is able to overlay his three monsters in the Graveyard, summoning "Raidraptor - Rise Falcon" and uses its effect to absorb ATK from all enemy monsters, giving it over 16,000 ATK and letting it attack all of them for a triple OneHitKO. Kurosaki leaves the scene, but is confronted by Reiji with a group of LID agents.

During the duel, Yuzu meets Yuto again, who explains Ruri (Lulu) is Kurosaki's little sister that they're trying to rescue from an enemy that uses Fusion Summon. Yuzu and Ruri look very much alike, which is why Kurosaki confused the two in their last encounter. Yuto also tells Yuzu his name at last.
