** Yuya makes a good point that fighting in rage is never a good idea especially since he and Yuto has some force controlling them.
** The sisters remark they came specifically prepared to deal with the Lancers, as they know they focus on Pendulum Summoning and thus have cards to counter that advantage.

It's not an example people, by definition this trope is only in use when the "genre blindness" happens purely because "the plot said so" and the characters have some degree of awarenss of it, the sole fact that Yuya was trying to keep the Berserk mode at bay erases this trope as a possibility.

* ContractualGenreBlindness: Yuya is a rare heroic example. The preview shows that Yuya is steadfast in trying to bring smiles to people with his dueling, despite how his duel with [[DoubleKnockout Edo]] went, and how others, primarily Yuto, have told him it won't work. Though in the episode proper, he refuses to duel in anger out of fear of his Berserk Mode.

* EvilCannotComprehendGood: The Tyler Sisters were utterly shocked by Yuya's Entertainment Dueling.

Suddenly, Sawatari’s cry for help could be heard across the streets. Yuya and Kurosaki hurry over, but see only an unconscious hear Sawatari and Gongenzaka, Gongenzaka cry out, and run to find them defeated by the Tyler Sisters standing before them. Furious at how Academia treats Sisters. As the sisters taunt the two, Yuto speaks through Yuya against them, and tells Yuya he heard of the Resistance's Spade Branch being defeated by two duelists who used Amazoness decks. Yuya feels Yuto's anger and rage, but remembers their allies, Berserk Mode and warns him not to fall victim to those emotions. Kurosaki calls to Yuya to aid him against the sisters, and Yuya agrees but says he will use the dueling he believes in. The duel begins as a tag duel, with the duelists sharing the field, Graveyard, and Life Points.

Gloria takes the first turn and activates the Continous Spell "Slow Life," preventing any duelist from Normal Summoning the same turn they Special Summon and vice-versa. She Fusion Summons "Amazoness Empress" and sets a card to end her turn. Yuya takes his turn and performs a Pendulum Summon, summoning "Entermate Monkeyboard" and "Xiangsheng Magician." Gloria activates her Continuous Trap "Amazoness Audience Chamber." Now as long as they control an Amazoness monster, each time the opponent Special Summons, Gloria and Grace will gain Life Points equal to the ATK of the summoned monsters. They rise to 5500 Life Points. Yuya seta a card and ends his turn. Grace Fusion Summons "Amazoness Liger" and attacks with her two Amazonesses, dealing piercing damage.
Yuya and Kurosaki challenge fall to 2100 Life Points. Grace sets two cards and ends her turn.

Kurosaki takes his turn and uses Yuya's Pendulum Scales to summon three "Raidraptors - Singing Lanius" and overlays them to summon "Raidraptors - Rise Falcon." The sisters rise to 5900 Life Points. Kurosaki equips Rise Falcon with "Raidraptors - Iron Heart" and activates Falcon's effect, detaching an Xyz Material to give it ATK equal to the ATK of all opposing Special Summoned monsters and letting it attack all those monsters this turn. The 5900 ATK Falcon attacks Amazoness Liger, but it is not destroyed by battle by the effect of Amazoness Empress. Kurosaki attacks Empress, but Liger's effect negates it. Kurosaki sets a card and ends his turn, the ATK of Falcon returning to 600. at this time Grace activates the Continuous Trap "Amazoness Secret Hot Spring." Its effect recovers the battle damage they took at the end of each turn, bringing them back to 5900 Life Points. She also activates "Amazoness Cursed Mirror," which lets them negate battle damage once per turn.

Gloria draws and declares an attack on Rise Falcon with Amazoness Liger. Kurosaki activates "Rank-Up-Magic Escape Force," negating the attack and ranking up Rise Falcon to the Rank 5 "Raidraptors - Blaze Falcon." The sisters gain 1000 Life Points, and attack with Amazoness Empress. Blaze Falcon is destroyed and Yuya and Kurosaki are left with 300 Life Points. The effect of Iron Heart activates and lets Kurosaki revive two Xyz Raidraptors from his Graveyard, and attach one to the other as an Xyz Material. He revives Rise Falcon and attaches Blaze Falcon to it. The sisters are at 7000 Life Points as they end their turn. The sisters ask why they keep fighting when defeat is obvious, but Kurosaki and Yuto declare that until Academia is defeated, they will never give up. Yuya tells Yuto he understands his feelings, but their anger will awaken the being sleeping inside them. He asks Yuto to trust him, and Yuto retreats.

Yuya draws "Smile World." He Pendulum Summons Xiangsheng Magician and activates "Monster Reborn" to revive a Singing Lanius, and overlays them to summon "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon." The Special Summons grant
the Tyler Sisters sisters more Life Points, to 10,100. Yuto questions how they can defeat so many Life Points, and Yuya says it will take all their power, as well as his father's. Yuya calls out "ladies and gentlemen" and asks the audience to applaud when he defeats 10,000 Life Points at once. Yuya activates the Continuous Spell "Miracle Rocket Show." Its effect lets him negate the battle damage his opponent takes this turn. Yuya activates Smile World, granting all monsters on the field 400 additional ATK.

Kurosaki uses the effect of Rise Falcon, and Yuya and Yuto uses Dark Rebellion's, targeting Amazoness Liger. Yuya asks Yuto if he understands now, and Yuto agrees. The 6600 ATK Rise Falcon and 5075 ATK Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon attack the now-725 ATK Amazoness Liger, and climb into toy rockets from Miracle Rocket Show that launch in
a Duel.shower of fireworks. As the Tylers admire the sights, the attacks land, but deal no damage. Yuya then uses the second effect of Miracle Rocket Show at the end of the battle phase, dealing damage equal to the battle damage negated. The Tyler sisters lose.

Meanwhile, in Academia's base in the Xyz Dimension, Edo thinks he must find and crush Yuya if he is related to Yusho. He orders the Academia agents with him to locate Yuya, and gets a feed of his duel as he uses Smile World. When Yuya mentions Yusho's name, the enraged Edo orders his troops to move out. Back at the duel, Obelisk Force arrives to apprehend the Lancers.

Not en example, the entry itself said so, Yuya stuck to his entertainer personality partly to keep at bay the Berserk Mode, and just because Yuto and everyone keeps telling him it won't work, he doesn't stick to it "just because" that is very in character for him and a result of his development on the past season.
