Added DiffLines:

* NegativeContinuity: Homer assumes that there are other safety inspectors around to cover for him and is highly alarmed when Marge tells him that he is, and to her belief has always been, the only one ("I've never seen another.") The episode "Bart's New Friend" two seasons earlier opened with the revelation that another safety inspector, Don Bookner, had been covering for Homer for years, causing the whole job to fall to a terrified Homer when Bookner retired.
