They fall for it again later in the episode. [[RuleofThree Finally]], at the end of the episode, they run out of the house when they think that they're about to miss the bus. It turns out that Mr. Grouse was playing his CD of classic school bus sounds.

* HiddenDepths: For a six-year-old, Lola proves to be capable of working independently with minimal supervision when it comes to her homeschooling--though it's said by her parents that she's been homeschooled during the pageant season for a few years now, so she's probably used to it at this point (unlike her siblings).
* HomeschooledKids: Downplayed--Lola's revealed to be homeschooled during the main competition season for beauty pageants so she has more time to prepare for them, hence why previous episodes showed her attending a regular elementary school like Lincoln, Lucy, Lana and Lisa. Lola's siblings (minus Lily, who's only fifteen months old) want to become this and are allowed to do so by their parents, but Lincoln and the rest of his sisters soon discover that homeschooling isn't really what they imagined it to be.
* OhCrap: This is the siblings' reaction when Lola informs them they will have a test at 8am-sharp the next morning, and every Friday afterwards--Lisa has another case of this when she learns that, as a Kindergartener, she ''will'' be graded on her arts-and-crafts projects instead of knowledge.
