* ArtShift: Daggett's thought ballon visuals depict everything like kindergarten drawings, colored roughly with crayons. It's actually a RunningGag in the series, and this is just the first instance of it.

* CoolTrain: A shame Dag had to go and destroy it.

to:

* CoolTrain: The "Paul Bunyon Giant Logger's Express Electric Train Set" comes with several trains (with the locomotives making actual diesel train sound effects), loads of track that span the entire dam and numerous accessories such as buildings, signs, bridges, tunnels and people figures. A bit of TruthInTelevision: in TheEighties and 90s a few department store holiday catalogs like Sears and J.C. Penny's sold such deluxe train sets in HO-scale that may even include two or three trains, plenty of track and trestles, and numerous accessories including landscaping, in other words, a complete model railroad layout in one package, and Norb's train set may have been an example of this, albeit shown in a larger scale than HO. A shame Dag had to go and destroy it.it all.

Added DiffLines:

* SubvertedRhymeEveryOccasion: Dag does this during his first ImagineSpot when singing in MockingSingSong:
--> "No more train, no more choo-choo, no more stinky pine tree, that doesn't even rhyme, but I don't care, no more train!"

Added DiffLines:

* TrackTrouble: Dag keeps intentionally setting this up as part of wrecking Norb's train set. His ImagineSpot of destroying the train involves Dag drawing a hole next to him and setting up the tracks so Norb and his train end up falling down the hole.

Restricting to in-universe examples rather than fan speculation.

* WeCouldHaveAvoidedAllThis: The ending reveals that the scented pine tree was not Dag's intended gift. He was supposed to receive a remote-controlled monster truck toy, however the train set was so large, the worker had to make two trip deliveries. The pine tree was more like a courtesy gift from the mail company. Had the postal worker explained this when he delivered the train set to Norb, Dag would have never gotten jealous and tried to destroy Norb's train set! Doesn't really excuse Dag's doings in this episode, but still...
