* RhetoricalRequestBlunder: Every comment Gumball makes about anyone who slights him gets interpreted by Bobert as an order to attack. He wishes Principal Brown would "get lost", Bobert drops him off in the Forest of Doom. Gumball says Ms. Simian needs to "chill out", so she gets LockedInAFreezer. Gumball sees Mr. Small in rollerblades and says the world needs less rollerbladers, so Bobert shoots him with a laser ("I'm OK."). Gumball responds to something Rocky says with "get out of here", and Bobert throws him out the window.

* BaitAndSwitch: Bobert initiates a countdown after being pinned under the library shelf. Gumball and Darwin immediately assume that Bobert is about to self-destruct and is pulling a TakingYouWithMe situation. It's actually the countdown for how much time is let on the bet.

* ExactWords: The bet Gumball won against Bobert was saying the alphabet faster. While Bobert start listing off the letters A to Z, Gumball just says "the alphabet".

* Troll: When Darwin attempts to help Bobert talk to Tina with a bunch of electricity-based pick-up lines, Gumball sees the fusebox behind Tina, and can't stop himself from sabotaging Bobert by making him say that he was talking to the fusebox.

* MagicCountdown: Bobert counts down to ten seconds to detonatation, but each "second" takes more like three to ten seconds.

* JustThinkOfThePotential: At the start of the episode Gumball and Darwin discuss the ways Bobert's powers good be used to make the world a better place, [[ReedRichardsIsUseless then Gumball decides he'd rather use him for pranks.]]

* LosingYourHead: By Gumball's order, Bobert confesses love to Tina but then says he was talking to a fuse box. She responds by tearing his head off, which the nurse is able to fix him.
