General clarification on work content The disease is specifically stated to be a baccilus, not a virus. Also replaced "excreted" with "secreted" and added Artistic License Biology.

* AllPlanetsAreEarthlike: A planet that was technically habitable (right sunlight and air quality), but all the flora excreted a deadly acid, and the fruit was lethal.

* ArtisticLicenseBiology: Flowers would not form on a planet unless they were meant to attract pollinators. Flowers require a fair amount of resources and water to develop and maintain. One might make a similar argument about the fruit, except that some fruits disperse seeds via exploding fleshy capsules.

* {{Foreshadowing}}: Spock's sensors indicate a total lack of animal life on Eden. Turns out that all of the vegetation on the planet is toxic and acidic.

Kirk and the ''Enterprise'' are in hot pursuit of the stolen spaceship ''Aurora''. The ''Aurora'' isn't giving up easily and leads them on a high speed chase. (High as in warp, not what you were thinking.) The cruiser's engines become strained from the chase and the whole thing goes ka-blooey! Fortunately (or not), Scotty manages to beam aboard the six miscreants before the cruiser explodes.

Does Not Like Shoes has been renamed and redefined to focus on characters that explicitly or implicitly state a preference for going barefoot. Removing misuse

* DoesNotLikeShoes: Dr. Sevrin and the space hippies. At one point, Scotty even disparages them as "barefooted watchacallens."
** AgonyOfTheFeet: The grass of Eden is so badly saturated with acid that it inflicts horrific burns on the feet of every member of the hippie cult except Adam, the only one who has any kind of footwear at all -- leggings.
