* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: The couple who had their bag of leftovers at a diner blown away by the wind pretty much indirectly caused the events of the entire episode when those said left overs flew into [=SpongeBob=]'s bedroom causing him to look out the window and cause the wind to make music with his holes.

* TrivialTitle: The title has little-to-no relation with [=SpongeBob=]'s problem in the episode. It likely refers to the formation of stone [=SpongeBob=]s in the climax.

While both Squidward and the falling shoe are in slow-mo, [=SpongeBob=] is still moving at normal speed when he warns Squidward, pushes him away, and gets hit.

to:

* KarmaHoudini: No one The Bikini Bottomites never got any comeuppance for what they did to poor Squidward.

* CruelTwistEnding: [=SpongeBob=] spends the second half of the episode trapped in a cave in Jellyfish Fields to figure out how to get the Jellyfish off his back and return to his normal life. When he returns to Bikini Bottom, the town is apparently abandoned, as the Krusty Krab is buried in the sand and everyone else is nowhere to be seen.

* PlotHole: [=SpongeBob=] sees the Krusty Krab buried in the sand when he returns to Bikini Bottom, even though it was blown away earlier in the episode. It's possible the Krusty Krab was rebuilt during [=SpongeBob's=] absence, or [=SpongeBob=] happened to approach the spot the restaurant landed.

* SlowMotionFall: {{Parodied|Trope}}. Once Squidward becomes even more handsome, he suddenly begins moving in slow motion, but ''only'' he does. When Spongebob tries to warn him about the falling show, while Spongebob is running at a normal speed, Squidward is turning to look up in slow motion. This continues when Spongebob knocks Squidward aside, as while Squidward is sent into an overly dramatic spin before he hits the support beam, Spongebob is still at regular speed, the shoe having already landed and bounced off Spongebob's head. While Squidward doesn't "die", this is where "Handsome Squidward" does, as once he hits the beam, he gets his normal face back, and leaves slow motion.

* HardTruthAesop: There are many people out there who admire someone just for their looks alone. Someone who is good-looking will often end up being more popular than someone else who is more talented, but isn't as attractive to people.
