After receiving a letter from the recently-deceased Dr. Swann, Clark contacts Jor-El, who instructs him to find the remaining Stones of Power. When he and Lana later learn that Jason and Lex are in China searching for one of the stones, Clark and Lana follow them, only to be captured by Chinese officers. When Lana is tortured by the officers, Isobel possesses her once again.
