* AwkwardPoetryReading: Toward the beginning, Mokey tries to read Boober her latest poem, but he's too preoccupied with the noise of Fraggle Rock to want to listen. Later, after he's visited Gobo and heard from him about the "dull and quiet" Caves of Boredom, Mokey finds him and tries again to read him her poem.

* ThisIsMySide: Doc and Sprocket's attempt to organize the workshop, because they're tired of finding each other's things in their way. They drop this at the end of the episode.

* SongOfCourage: Subverted, when Boober and Wembley want to leave the Caves of Boredom but can't remember the way out. Wembley suggests they sing the "Remembering Song" to keep their spirits up. But as they sing, their memories get progressively worse, until most of the lyrics have been reduced to "something" and "nah-nah-nah-nah-nah." And on top of that, they don't notice the killer plants in the caves trying to grab them.

* BindleStick: Boober carries a pole over his shoulders, with a bundle at either end, when leaving for the Caves of Boredom.

* DiegeticSoundtrackUsage: Red sings a portion of the show's actual theme song, and then makes up [[SongParody joke lyrics]] to poke fun at Boober. Boober is not amused, especially when Red shoves him playfully and he ends up dirtying his favorite scarf.

* JerkassBall: Red sings a mocking version of the ''Fraggle Rock Theme'' called [[TitleDrop ''Boober Rock'']] to Boober, then slaps him on the back, knocking the laundry basket out of his hands and getting a rock-moss smear on one of his scarves. When Boober complains of this, she tells him that laundry is ''supposed'' to be dirty. She tries to apologize by attempting to get the stain out with a bleach nut, but she only breaks it, causing it to emit a smelly gas. [[RejectedApology Boober does not accept her apology.]]

The Storyteller, though, is oblivious to the reason for their drama.

Later, Wembley visits him at the Caves of Boredom and is caught by the forgetfulness spell and the killer plants. Still later, when Mokey arrives with Gobo and Red and they forget what they're doing, she drops the poem, which she had brought so she could read all of it to Boober. Boober, who is rapidly losing his own memory, finds it and reads the whole poem. [[spoiler:The last lines are about missing one's friends and the songs and meals they've shared... which helps Boober start to remember that the little green Fraggle caught in the killer plants is his friend.]]
