During yet another treasure hunt, Scrooge runs into his DistaffCounterpart, Millionara Vanderbucks, the world's richest female duck. Initially, they don't get along. However, over time, Millionara seems to warm up to Scrooge, who doesn't know that to Millionara, marriage means having even more money.

* ChildHater: Millionara Vanderbucks. Upon marrying Scrooge, she intends to send Huey, Dewey and Louie to military school and Webby to finishing school.

* ContinuityCavalcade: The episode includes cameos from several characters who have appeared in the series thus far at the wedding. Aside from appearances from Gyro, Donald, the Beagle Boys, and Glomgold, those present in line or in the aisles include Doofus Drake, Gladstone Gander, Magica [=DeSpell=], Feathers Galore and J. * DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: During the ceremony, Mrs. Beakley starts sobbing and Duckworth attempts to comfort her, advising her to think of the situation as gaining a "bossy in-law", not losing a boss (rather like "you're not losing a son; you're gaining a daughter"). Then Mrs. Beakley destroys the metaphor by telling him that Millionara plans to fire them both as soon as the wedding ring is on her finger.
* DomesticAbuse: As much as you could get away in an '80s cartoon. Millionara Vanderbucks is a BitchInSheepsClothing GoldDigger [[{{Gaslighting}} who uses her feminine wiles to wrap Scrooge around her finger to the point that he’s completely oblivious about her cruel actions]], and she aims to completely dismantle his family by firing Mrs. Beakley and Duckworth and sending the triplets and Webby to military school and finishing school respectively just because [[IrrationalHatred she doesn’t like them]] [[ItsAllAboutMe and doesn’t want to share the spoils that will come with becoming Mrs. McDuck]].
* EvilLaugh: Millionara cackles when it looks like she'll get her way.
* EvilGloating: Millionara crows over the success of her schemes, unfortunately when Scrooge isn't around.
* GilliganCut: Scrooge says he's come to offer Millionara, "an offer [she] can't refuse" for some turf. Cut to the door: "What do you mean you refuse?"
* GoldDigger: Millionara Vanderbucks. The nephews invite a guest to prevent her from marrying Scrooge: Glittering Goldie. Millionara then meets Flintheart, who quickly realizes she nearly gave him the same fate Scrooge avoided.
* LiteralMinded: Upon hearing that Millionaira intends to give Duckworth and Mrs. Beakly the pink slip, the boys think it's a gift, and they're getting off better than the kids. When Mrs. Beakly sets them straight:

* OffToBoardingSchool: Millionara plans to send Huey, Dewey and Louie to military school and Webbigail to finishing school ("I don't want to be finished!")

* PoorCommunicationKills: It may have been useless, but the triplets don't even ''try'' repeating Millionara's EvilGloating moments to Scrooge.

* ScaryStingingSwarm: Millionara is attacked by bees after the triplets spray her with honey disguised as bug repellent.

* VillainBall: After successfully wooing Scrooge to the altar, Millionara accidentally lets slip that she's more interested in his money than in him. When her groom expresses dismay, Millie doesn't attempt to act as though she misspoke or he misunderstood, but makes it even clearer that she's marrying him only for his assets. Predictably, it causes the scheme to fail.

* WeddingSmashers: [[PluckyGirl Glittering]] [[NeverMessWithGranny Goldie]] crashes Scrooge's wedding ''epically'', by popping out of the wedding cake and blasting away with a shotgun. It turns out the nephews invited the old flame specifically to keep Scrooge from marrying Millionara.

* WithThisRing: Donald is Scrooge's best man... so of course he drops the ring down a sewer grate and has to go down there to retrieve it.

Scrooge falls in love with Millionara Vanderbucks, to whom marriage means more money.

* EvilGloating: She does this too.

* BeeAfraid: Millionara is attacked by bees after the triplets spray her with honey disguised as bug repellent.
