It's a little outdated compared to the Romulan characters' ''D'deridex''-class but they're impressed nonetheless.

Granted, he's not ''that'' short (5'8”), but at one point, when he had been travelling almost nonstop for about four days, had hardly slept at all during that time, and felt like utter shit, he was forced to enter single combat against a 7-foot muscleman with a giant flail. ** While Harry shoots up height wise to the point where he's about five foot nine by Easter (shorter than average to average for a grown man, tall for his age), but he's still routinely facing things much larger than him. Unfortunately for them, like [[Literature/TheDresdenFiles another wizard called Harry]] he's something of a prodigy [[PlayingWithFire with fire...]]

* Even using Element Zero to double their canonical size, the VideoGame/SwordOfTheStars factions in the crossover story ''FanFic/ShepherdOfTheStars'' still use ships that are half the length of their MassEffect counterparts. Despite the size difference, the Sword of the Stars ships carry enough guns to equal and occasionally surpass the armament of Council vessels. A great [[AllThereInTheManual deal of time]] is put into explaining why they are able to do this and how Council ships are able to still be competitive with such tiny monsters.

* The protagonist in ''[[https://www.reddit.com/r/HFY/wiki/series/humans_dont_make_good_pets Humans Don't Make Good Pets]]'' is a reasonable height of 175cm (5'9") but is a full meter shorter than even the children of the alien family that "adopts" him. Despite this, being kicked by the father feels like a young teen punched him on the arm and he can send said father flying with a shove. Later, he even breaks through a metal door on a space ship using a tub to batter it off it's hinges. Once things heat up, the human protagonist can basically ignore anything that isn't an anti-tank gun and can leap several meters at a time due to the lower gravity.
