* Years ago, humanity relied on deities for their dominion over magic and miracles and grew to worship them. However, mankind was greedy and in their longing for more turned against the deities they once revered and instigated continent-spanning witch hunts which forced them into hiding. Within the continent of Derkarr lives a nameless deity who would be later known as Eirudy having dwelled in the safety of the Misty Forest for all her life and her only family being her aging grandmother whom she occasionally contacts. Her creation was an extraordinary one being a doll created by her grandmother to succeed the late deities Revgato and Morell but other than that, Eirudy's normal life consisted of chasing around animals and avoiding contact with humans. She has tried bringing to life dolls that can speak out of a longing for friends though was largely unsuccessful as [[UnfortunateNames Failur]] had demonstrated. [[BoyMeetsGirl This all changed when she a boy named Adrian]]. Adrian was looking for a cure for his bedridden mother whose health mysteriously declined day by day. Eirudy's decision to help the boy would not only mark the end of her lonely life in the Misty Forest but also change life within Derkarr as a whole. While Eirudy did lose her way after being hurt by humans despite her efforts towards helping them, she did come around to help liberate the continent and end Derkarr's witch hunts there once and for all in addition to reviving that continent's springs even if she was manipulated to in the latter case.
* Eirudy came to the Pantheon after hearing reports of strange frog-like monsters prowling the local area. After handily dealing with them she was just about to walk back when she found herself face-to-face with a large wyvern-like fish and was suddenly pushed into some sort of chasm. Upon getting her bearings, she found herself in an environment truly unlike anything she saw on either Derkarr or Ürphea. She soon meets a young woman named Rorona who explains to her that she’s currently in a place called the Pantheon and that monsters she never saw before -- which matched the description of Hunter Alphas -- more than likely came from here. Her explanation was interrupted by the fish monster from before, the Plesioth, who followed Eirudy back and Rorona mused it came to Eirudy’s world in the first place to eat the frogs. After defeating it, Eirudy was then invited to the Court of Gods.
** After some discussion, it would be decided that Eirudy would ascend under HeadPet due to the presence of Failur feeding upon her magic throughout most of her adventure in Derkarr which she lets despite initially seeing it as a failed attempt to make a talking friend. Upon being saved from disappearing within the Spring of Morell by Adrian her doll Failur, having been assured by Eirudy before jumping in that it accumulated enough magic to survive without her, [[ChekhovSGun uses said accumulated magic to bring her back]]. After being revived, Eirudy lamented Failur’s sacrifice and apologized for failing in the doll’s creation but Failur soon began to move again after she unconsciously used power from Revgato to reciprocate the kindness. While Failur no longer sits upon her head, having now preferred resting on her shoulder, the trope proved significant enough to her story to warrant being a candidate. Eirudy was admittedly skeptical of the validity of such a title, especially when weighed against her status as a Temple Lord Candidate for Derkarr, but she accepted under the condition that she be allowed to bring along Adrian as a Herald which was reasonable terms (though another deity, [[MyFriendsAndZoidberg Filia]], somehow managed to sneak along as another Herald too).
* The first person Eirudy met with after ascending was Rorona what with how the two managed to hit it off. Part of that could be chalked up to the bond over beating a Piscine Wyvern earlier but the rest is attributed to how they reminded each other of other friends they know (Pieberry for Eirudy and Lionela for Rorona). While Eirudy prefers collecting and making stuff on her own, she still goes to see her for a synthesis request every so often. That, and she likes the pies Rorona makes. With how big the Pantheon is in its entirety she can’t really do it by herself anymore and has to commend the skills of Rorona and her fellow alchemists who ascended alongside her. Occasionally Eirudy also helps her and the others with collecting materials in the Pantheon too.
* Following her visit to Rorona, Eirudy was interested in learning more about magic from various other worlds the Pantheon pulled from after having sensed that said magics are much different from the ones she knows back home. She of course has frequently visited the House of Pantheon/MagicAndSorcery to comb through various books regarding them and in one of these visits she met with two witches: Atsuko Kagari and Diana Cavendish. While Eirudy already got over the revelation that humans from other worlds can wield magic like deities, she was surprised by how the two openly identified themselves as witches which prompted the two to clarify some things and what witches are to them though in Akko’s case its more about how much she idolized them and what they mean to her. In any case, Eirudy was endeared to both and joined both in learning about the different magics in the Pantheon together.
* In Derkarr, with only the Spring of Revgato active much of the continent has been reduced to a barren desert. With it in the control of village Shubeth, they remain the most prosperous and often strongarm the other, poorer villages into giving them tribute, especially in the wake of attacks from dragons. As if that wasn’t enough it is soon revealed that the ruler of Shubeth, Regal, [[EngineeredHeroics has control over said dragons in the first place]]. With this in mind, Eirudy is thankful for the fact that Tethu and Tethi are far more altruistic by a mile both from managing their Oasis to combating the corrupting Chaos that ran rampant throughout their world. Eirudy also commends Esna’s sacrifice to purify Chaos and return the desert into a sprawling haven of green… [[InvisibleToNormals even she can’t directly tell her that]] but Esna was thankful for the sentiment nonetheless. Eirudy stops by their Oasis when she can having taken a liking to the commodities and there, and plans to take Adrian with her to their Oasis on a date one of these days.
* Owing to how she began as a doll and her original life in the Misty Forest, Eirudy was pretty emotionless. But in one fateful encounter with Adrian, she took a step outside her world grew and experienced a myriad of things she couldn’t have otherwise. Among those were emotions such as joy, sorrow, and eventually love. [[BrutalHonesty She still can be pretty blunt, however]]. In this respect, she is comparable to Rei Ayanami and Byleth Eisner who are, or rather were considered emotionless but came to grow over time. Adding to the comparison is some sort of artificial natures surrounding their conceptions either as actual clones or having a mechanism to animate them, respectively. Eirudy befriended both but in the case of Byleth they also help give her some lessons despite Eirudy not being part of the Pantheon’ Elysium Academy. Violet Evergarden is also similar in this regard owing to her own traumatic history as a former ChildSoldier and after the war she became an Auto-Memories Doll (a ghostwriter, basically) not only to find her purpose in life but to further understand love. And like the former two it was following this new path in life did she grew as a person. Eirudy has thought about having Violet write for her one of these days.
* Being a MarionetteMaster it would seem natural for Eirudy to be drawn towards others who dabble in similar crafts, such as Alice who is another magical puppeteer who utilizes a wide array of puppets. Eirudy met Alice when she offered her shelter due to a dangerous storm forming in the House of Pantheon/CommunitiesAndSolitude thanks to [[Pantheon/AquaticLife Duke Fishron]] and [[Pantheon/EnvironmentalSettings Kraeken Dragon Skourzh]]. Having done some errands on her own and [[NoodleIncident tired from dealing with an incident involving]] [[TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons a Grisgol and a Braxat hunting party]], Eirudy was thankful for the hospitality and didn’t mind the creepiness of Alice’s home during her stay. If anything, she felt nostalgic being reminded of her Marionette House in the Misty Woods. There was also Sasori, a former member of the Akatsuki who specializes in puppetry Eirudy’s was understandably on edge around him what with being a former terrorist and dabbler in poison, something that took the life of Adrian’s father (even if he did bring it upon himself) and almost took Pieberry’s boyfriend Justice if not for her [[DisneyDeath brief]] sacrifice to revive him. Then there’s the fact that many of his puppets are sourced from corpses[[note]]While she has Desert Fox Cub as a Doll, it was already killed by scorpions by the time she found it and brought it back out of genuine pity[[/note]]. Sasori doesn’t dispute any of those points. Still, Eirudy also pites him having taken a darker path herself and would have continued doing so were not for Adrian getting through to her. Sasori also sees a bit of himself in the young deity, the main being that sense of loneliness especially from an absence of family (though her relationship with her grandmother is, while aloof, still less strained). Since Sasori is content with just being left alone to his work even with other members of the Akatsuki around Eirudy sees no point in antagonizing him.
** As creepy as her dolls can come off, they’re still helpful artificial creations that she also made to be her friends (they even help with her clothes every day). However, Telence D’Arby’s Stand, Atum, turns those who lose or admit defeat against him into dolls. Worse still, the dolls are fully conscious and Telence enjoys the torment he drives from them, and he has a whole collection. To no one’s surprise, Telence has earned Eirudy’s enmity and while Atum is not suited to fighting and thus its user has little in the way of defending himself she’s still cautious of the terms of its soul-stealing and mind-reading abilities. She has looked into some other gods who have a way of beating Telence and other safeguards should the worst come to pass when she or a friend of hers is forced to play a game with him. Then there was Jae-heon. Similar to Sasori, he sources his puppets from people but in the Puppeteer’s case he, like Telence, has the discourtesy of also being alive and conscious. What makes him different from both is how the [[BodyHorror horrifically warped]] the puppets reflect his turbulent emotions regarding [[WretchedHive the City]] and those who wronged him. This, combined with his indiscriminate hatred towards the rich is grounds for her to also oppose him.
* Speaking of dolls, Eirudy also found herself drawn to other dolls and puppets throughout the Pantheon. Firstly, there was the ever-iconic Pinocchio, originally a mischievous puppet who was modeled after a woodcarver’s late son but later came into his own as a real boy either literally or metaphorically. While Eirudy has already long transformed into a living being, her journey of experiencing the world and learning new things, can be likened to Pinocchio’s own story in a way. Of that, the two can relate to one another. Through Pinocchio, Eirudy also ended up meeting Pinocchio’s father himself, Geppetto. The humble old woodcarver was surprised when his son brought a deity to visit him and was even more surprised when she asked to see his art and offered to do the same.
** For others, there was [[Pantheon/{{Tears}} the Plain Doll]]. The Hunter’s caretaker proved as unresponsive as ever but Eirudy found her almost nostalgic, seeing the person she originally was before meeting a certain prince hiding in a cave bush. Sure, Eirudy’s much more than that now following his experiences with the world but her past self and current self are both integral to who she is as Eirudy. There was also Laetitia, a peculiar lone doll girl who she saw waiting by her lonesome in the House of Pantheon/{{Musicality}}. Eirudy of course struck conversation with her though Laetitia clarified she’s not lonely because she has friends nearby. Laetitia continued on, rambling on gifts and happiness, and remarked she would like to see Eirudy smile to which she replied she had been smiling more nowadays. Laetitia was about to give the deity a gift before being stopped and escorted away by an Agent while another explained to Eirudy the little girl and [[DeadlyPrank the true nature of her gifts]]. Suffice to say, the endearment ended then and there though Eirudy does also pity Laetitia given that her pranks aren’t malicious as from the way she spoke when they first met she truly is sincere in her motives and is oblivious to the consequences.
* While not lacking in magic, she’s skilled in swordsmanship and her prowess in melee combat far surpasses previous leads Pieberry and Luna. It's doubly impressive considering most of her skill comes from teaching herself. And by [[SpellBlade embuing her strikes with magic]] she becomes a force to be reckoned with. She even bested the Justice, Vavelia’s Supreme Palace Warrior though admittedly their duel wasn’t a serious one, being a spur of the moment test if she’s worthy to wield the sword Esteras by [[RoyalBrat Sofia]]. Eirudy didn’t really ask for the sword and Justice wanted to move on with his business but got dragged in regardless. In any case, there’s always room for improvement, and has made it a habit to continue to train in the House of Pantheon/FightingAndCombat. During one of her training sessions, she was joined by Link, EternalHero of Hyrule, who is skilled in the way of the blade along with a whole host of other proficiencies. He was more than willing to help out the deity with sword training, engaging in friendly duels and giving some pointers here and there.
* Eirudy’s upbringing in the Misty Forest allowed her to dodge the terror that came of the {{Witch Hunt}}s though she still lived a life of avoiding humans. Not the case with others who were in the thick of such horrific events.
** Eirudy pities both the fates of Jeanne and Agatha Penderghast, finding it a grim reminder that humans have their moments of cruelty, though she’s also glad that both of them have currently gotten better support in their new lives in the Pantheon. Jeanne was disgusted by the people enacting witch hunts on those they considered gods and how easily rapport and goodwill disappeared almost overnight. Even if they’re not the Abrahamic God she is devoted to, she found the notion far more blasphemous than her own DealWithTheDevil. For Agatha, she found Eirudy’s ostracization despite not meaning any harm an all too familiar tale. The Marionette Witch met with Agatha and by extension, Norman as part of her ongoing research on magic and other odd phenomena and wanted to learn more about their [[ISeeDeadPeople abilities]]. Eirdy never found the existence of ghosts frightening and even helped a group of them be laid to rest from being trapped by another ghost that preyed upon them without so much as a wink. In the process she ended up growing fond of the two of them and offering them help should they be in trouble. Eirudy, however, hasn’t taken the time to meet with Jeanne likely stemming from her very poor experiences with nobility and Eirudy’s romantic relationship with a prince.
** Abigail Williams was responsible for helping kickstart such hysteria surrounding witches, though in her case it was truly done on accident, and felt guilty over it, not helped by [[EldritchAbomination Räum]] amplifying said guilt for their ends. By the end of the Pseudo-Singularity, she sought to atone for how the Salem Witch Trials turned out originally. Eirudy can relate to such feelings of wanting to atone as after being betrayed in Lehert despite all her efforts she delved into some darker uses which caused her to hunt down human warriors as soul fuel for her Soul Stone, no longer content with just Vitality. Among the casualties was Hector, a retired warrior with hints of deity ancestry who didn’t mind her status as a deity but turned on her to avenge the men under his tutelage. While she did it to be strong enough to see Adrian again it was only after confronting him did she soon learned the ramifications of her actions though he nonetheless forgave her for that and was happy to even see her again. Still, even after saving Derkarr and being accepted by humans she has lingering regrets about what she did. Since meeting one another, they keep in contact with one another and are open to helping one another out should the time come. Abigail also frequently invites her over to eat. A lot of the time it was over pancakes which she was happy to introduce Eirudy to. Eirudy approves.
** Through healing and helping an Elystadt refugee family that managed to escape the country and into the Pantheon beyond she heard about the existence of Sophie. Through her research, she read about the original Sophie who had her tragic history of being betrayed and killed despite her efforts to help Eylstadt long ago. While Eirudy could relate to said feelings she finds what the current Sophie is doing to be reprehensible. Even when compared to what Eirudy did during her darkest hour, the horrors Sophie caused through her current affiliation with the Germanian Empire far surpasses that. Upon personally crossing paths with her Sophie scoffed at the notion of comparing on slaughter to another but Eirudy could tell from her tone it was far from a sincere rebuttal. They inevitably fought, though Eirudy managed to drive her away with her Dolls. Since hearing about her and her forces’ occupation of Elystadt in the Pantheon she, while not directly participating within the war-torn country itself, does her part in helping Eylstadt civilians also seeking refuge to safety.
* Thanks in part to Akko and Diana, Eirudy was introduced to Luz Noceda and Amity Blight regarding the deity’s curiosity about the Boiling Isles. For Luz, she respects the effort she puts in to learn magic even making up for her shortcomings. She also relates to Amity falling in love with a human after they suddenly entered their lives whereupon it ended up changing for the better. Having heard of the deities’ history with Pope Celvis and Jude from Akko and Diana, the couple felt compelled to warn Eirudy of their {{Archenemy}} from back home, Emperor Belos. Emperor Belos was a blight on the Boiling Isles, influencing it from the shadows and holding responsibility for many of the horrible things that happened there but also planning the total genocide of all Demons and Witches. Though unlike the Pope and Jude, whose changes to the world were still relatively recent, Belos’ insidious influence ran far deeper. With this in mind, the two have Eirudy’s full support against him.
** Eirudy would meet another couple consisting of a human and a magical being, Battler Ushiromiya and Beatrice the Golden Witch. More specifically, a human-turned-sorcerer and an ancient witch (or so Beatrice what presented herself as). Battler was a “witch hunter” in the sense that he was determined to beat Beatrice in her games and disprove magic while she wanted him to admit that she was indeed a witch. In the end, Battler would ease up on his views on magic and fell in love with her while she managed to redeem herself recovered some of her sanity. That’s the long and short of it. For Beatrice in particular, Eirudy noted the similarites between her Dolls and Beatrice’s furniture that being [[spoiler:her anchors when it comes to coping with reality]]. The Temple Lord of Derkarr admits to finding their dynamic with one another a bit odd but chalked it up to that being how their love is. As one final thing Battler has suggested to her, in the event that either Pope Celvis or Jude ascend to the Pantheon, that she notifies him [[MegatonPunch so he could clock them]].
* Once she was under the impression she was a half-blooded deity but later unearthed the truth that she is a pureblooded one, though hers is of unique circumstance. The shock of complicated origins was shared with Lenna, a run-of-the-mill school teacher who ended up taking up the mantle of hero to fight off the eight archangels after the previous one spontaneously died. She originally turned out to be one such archangel herself before becoming human due to extraordinary events.
** Of the two, Revgato’s side is the more prominent through a potent ability to heal people though she lacks proper control of it. What she did to Failur was nothing short of a miracle though improper use of it would likely kill her as it takes a lot of magic to revive someone in her world. She can heal others through her Soul Stone though it is comparatively less potent. She has sought out Asia Argento for this reason as she possesses similar abilities and figured she would be of help in some way. Meanwhile, Eirudy’s roots in being Morell’s successor show in her usage of Vahnter (sometimes referred to as Bahenda) who was originally made to be Morell’s guardian by Eirudy’s grandmother but now serves as one of her strongest dolls. Its appearance has been likened to TheGrimReaper though ironically it's a benevolent counterpart to Bernick, Vahnter’s failed predecessor. Said comparison often leads to those making connections to the former Archangel of Wisdom Malthael. Being an AbsoluteXenophobe with a special hatred for humans both for their potential propensity to evil and connections to demons Eirudy isn’t fond of the comparisons.

* At times, Batman had his own canine companion, Ace the Bat-Hound, to help him in his crime-fighting endeavors, though one version of how he originally met Ace was a bit similar to how White Fang ended up with Weedon Scott, but with some notable differences in how things played out. Ace was originally involved with illegal dogfighting before running away and met Bruce Wayne, where he helped the former Batman fend off a thug, prompting Bruce to adopt him. From there, Ace would help Bruce and the current Batman, Terry Mcginnis, in fighting crime, though it took a bit of time before Terry and Ace got along with each other. While White Fang has had his share of encountering danger, it isn’t to the same level that Bruce and Terry had to go through, but meeting the wolfdog certainly brought Ace to mind and the two have made sure White Fang is safe should Weedon Scott end up in grave danger.
