* ''VideoGame/ToytaleRoleplay'' is a UsefulNotes/{{Roleplaying}} game partially inspired by ''VideoGame/{{Tattletail}}''[[note]](In fact, it used to have Tattletail's characters in it!)[[/note]] with a similar concept as children and toys roam freely around the house in-game. The game even outright has a death feature should you disable safety, which means that you can literally ''die'' in the game, and the game used to warn you about this and says that if it's off, you may not get the full, immersive experience.

* The monster from the [[https://www.roblox.com/groups/4851134/Parwaz-Studios Parwaz Studios]] games. Being a RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver HumanoidAbomination, and the antagonist of every storyline game the company has made, he and his {{Mooks}} attempt to attack the player and [[SensoryAbuse barrages the viewer's screen]] with a JumpScare consisting of [[NightmareFace his face appearing on the screen]], with an extremely loud roaring sound. The players fear him so much, that [[UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom they always land in a completely different area trying to escape from him.]] Worse? In ''Daycare 2'', if you try to attack him once he enters the daycare, a warning shows up saying ''[[OhCrap you can't attack him because he is too strong.]]''
** In the bad ending of ''Daycare 2'', [[ForcedTransformation he turns you into one of his minions]], with you being completely powerless and there's nothing you can do to stop or prevent it. [[FridgeHorror Which also brings a horrid question to mind.]] What if the monster's current minions are '''the souls of past players?'''

** Chapter 5 of Book 2 ends up turning the scare factor even higher than it was before, with the map being much darker than most others, the bot being more of a threat, and the mysterious nature of [[spoiler:the Insolence]] remaining creepy.
** Chapter 7 of Book 2 contains an incredibly terrifying Easter egg where if you click on a bunch of [[spoiler:Insolence]] eyes across the map and knock on the door of one building, an entity known only as Friend will emerge from the door. Friend is unsettling for its CheshireCatGrin similar to that of the [[WebOriginal/TheBackrooms current image of the Smilers]], pitch black skin, and being a genuine threat, being one of the fastest bots in the game.
** While Chapter 8 of Book 2 is otherwise fairly tame, there is another Easter egg where if you go against a window at the beginning of the match, a track known as Recording Tape C can be heard, having scratchy audio, creepy music and hidden codes which tell hints about [[spoiler:The Insolence]] (i.e. “[[BadassBoast WE STOPPED THEM UP THERE AND WILL STOP YOU TOO]]”, “Zee will [[TheVoiceless never speak]]”, “Smile for [[GreaterScopeVillain him]]”, etc.).
** Chapter 9 of Book 2 has far more of a horror aesthetic than most of the other chapters, introducing the Crawling Trap, unnerving bot music and creepy and cryptic notes (i.e. “Dark creatures, dark creatures everywhere. Someone get me out of here. I’m just a farmer who wanted an adventure.”, “SOON”, etc.).
** Laura, an unlockable skin in Chapter 11 of Book 2, is this for how sheerly unnerving she is, having pitch black eyes with a strange liquid leaking out of the right one and coming off as a CreepyChild due to the teddy bear she has. Her music, Investigation, also attributes to this with it’s unnerving feel. This is however kind of justified, as she was apparently directly inspired by one of [=MiniToon’s=] nightmares.
** The entirety of the Distraction chapter. The creepy appearance of the bots, the dark color scheme, the creepy music made for the chapter, the slow desaturation in colors the longer it takes to finish the chapter, everything about it is just unnerving.
** The same thing can DEFINITELY be said about the Breakout chapter. The genuine terror the Ombra skin produces, the creepy aesthetic with virtually no light, the gameplay style almost akin to The Mimic, EVERYTHING. [=MiniToon=] himself has even said he considers it the darkest chapter.
** The design for [[spoiler:Distorted Piggy]] simply is just… off. Unlike other skins, it’s design is relatively simplistic, but even then it’s still able to give genuine scares simply due to it’s UncannyValley, with the [[spoiler:cracked Insolence eye]] and and the pitch black right side of it’s face helping with this.
** [[spoiler:Distorted TIO]] is practically the POSTER BOY for this game’s examples of this trope. It’s entire design is just terrifying, from it’s SlasherSmile to it’s [[spoiler:Insolence eye-ridden]] top hat, to it’s EldritchAbomination nature. Everything about it is terrifying.

The place is set in the dark, there is a somewhat unnerving [[EndlessCorridor endless]] [[UnnaturallyLoopingLocation stairway]], and from there you may reach a platforming area with various mannequins hanging from the ceiling, which is required to get one of the Kitties. * The now (apparently removed) [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Tails]] [[{{Creepypasta}} Doll]] series from roughly 2014. The first game in the series is pretty simple; you are in a rusty metal corridor with red fog and you can only go forward until you eventually get [[JumpScare jumpscared]]. However, Tails Doll II has you enter a wooden house in a small field, where you meet an old man who gives some {{exposition}} before you suddenly hear the faint sound of "[[VideoGame/SonicR Can You Feel the Sunshine?]]". You are then told to get into a wooden elevator as the song slowly gets louder. Eventually you get off and exit the building, and as the song raises in volume you slowly limp (at least that’s the speed you’re moving at) towards the edge of the map. In the final installment of the series, you are in a [[BlackoutBasement nearly pitch black basement/lab]] made of dark grey stone full of moss. Your only tool is a flashlight and by inspecting notes around the place you find out about an experiment GoneHorriblyWrong, a shattered test chamber, and eventually reach a maze like area. * [[https://www.roblox.com/games/1639130617/Find-The-Krazy-Kitties-104 Find The Krazy Kitties (104)]] is a normally lighthearted game. However, [[BigBoosHaunt Appar Manor]] is pretty creepy, despite being full of NightmareRetardant and LightmareFuel moments. The place is set in the dark, there is a somewhat unnerving [[EndlessCorridor endless]] [[UnnaturallyLoopingLocation endless stairway]], and from there you may reach a platforming area with various mannequins hanging from the ceiling, which is required to get one of the Kitties. The collectable Kitties themselves aren't that bad, but the [[https://www.roblox.com/badges/1923692407/Skeleton-Kitty Skeleton Kitty]] is unsettling enough that even the ''creator'' is terrified of it!
* The now (apparently removed) [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Tails]] [[{{Creepypasta}} Tails Doll]] series from roughly 2014. * ''[[https://www.roblox.com/games/3392833725/The-Mirror The Mirror]]'' is a very brief experience without much in the way of actual gameplay, instead serving as more of a personalized interactive short story, but for what it lacks in length, it more than makes up for in absolutely terrifying substance.
** You play the part of the subject for a psychological experiment, being placed in a small and brightly-lit room in which there are only four things: a mirror, a lever, a door, and a sign explaining the rules of the experiment. When you pull the lever, nothing happens for a few seconds, instead leaving you in [[NothingIsScarier tense and anxiety-building silence]]. However, it isn't long before shit begins to hit the fan, [[MirrorScare with your avatar's head suddenly starting to vibrate violently as the door behind you opens]]...unless you happen to actually turn from the mirror and look behind you, revealing the door still sealed shut.
** Eventually, scary ambience begins playing as [[HeartbeatSoundtrack your heartbeat becomes audible]], gradually increasing in volume. Before long, [[InterfaceScrew the interface starts glitching]], with the caption as your cursor hovers your avatar's reflection [[SplitPersonalityTakeover switching from "you" to "me?", before eventually settling on "me"]], and in the reflection of the room, ceiling tiles start falling. Things then get much worse as a dim red light starts to glow in the room, [[OhCrap even outside of the reflection]], and your avatar's shadow will [[TeleportSpam now be quickly appearing from place to place]]. By now, your reflection's caption will either start switching to things like "animal", "creature", "cryptid", and "monster", or it will start switching to things like "null", "nothing", "nobody", and [[BreakingTheFourthWall "please stop"]]. By now, flipping the light will do little to change anything, as the edges of your screen will be [[NoPeripheralVision dimmed by a vignette representing tunnel vision]], your reflection's caption will still be corrupted, and your heartbeat will still be thumping like crazy.

** The game ends with the experiment logs being shown on an old computer monitor, revealing everything that occurred during the experiment [[SanitySlippage to have taken place in the subject's head]]. The game's description even claims to be based off of a real-world psychological phenomenon, adding to the implication that your sanity had been gradually deteriorating throughout the game. Then it's revealed that the subject had a heart attack which forced the experimenters to terminate the project and get medical help for the victim. But as the experiment logs end, [[ParanoiaFuel the lights in the room suddenly go out as very subtle spooky ambience begins playing]]. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfObsGS6HNM See here for the full gameplay]], but be warned that it gets very scary, very fast.

* In places with a certain admin commands set, typing in "?iloveyou" as a command would bring up a short GIF derived from [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFHBtu6Nb40 this]] video of a creepy clown dancing. What makes it even more disturbing is that, for a long time, nobody knew why the GIF was there, and some thought it was added with malicious intent. Eventually, a user came out and said that they added the clown GIF in as a joke, but it still doesn't make the secret any less creepier, especially if you stumble upon it by accident.
