** That whole "Not as forgiving as I am" line becomes much more horrifying when one considers that Vader's preferred method of disposing incompetence is Force choke. Certainly not a pleasant way to go but compare that with Force lightning. ''Every'' single time we've seen it used the victim is screaming and howling in agony. And while Force choke is relatively quick, Force lightning ''lasts''. Heck, even though Luke survived, he was zapped for far longer than he should have been.
