** Unicorn then proceeds to pull an EvilerThanThou on Beleth by reminding him that he only gained his power by using Unicron's, and even that is a mere glimpse of it. Then he proceeds to summon the corpses of V.V. and Megatron to prove his point, both together with their eyes replaced with empty blackness. Then Unicron proceeds to absorb all three into himself with Beleth able to feel his spirit being broken apart in the process. Then, it's followed by this single line from Unicron, punctuating the fact that the struggle against the darkness will continue, even though the war against tyranny has ended.

** During Ratchet, Thundercracker and Sky-Byte’s confrontation with Shockwave, the latter are swift to point out that Megatron’s endgame of assimilating the collective consciousness of the entire universe within himself will inevitably mean Shockwave himself will lose his individual life and sense of self. Rather than dissuading him, the mad Decepticon scientist is perfectly willing to let these events play out, believing that gaining the sum total of all knowledge in the universe is more important than his own identity.

** Megatron knew that the Decepticons were running out of men to hold the line against another attack. So his solution: Bring thousands of Cybertronian corpses to New Kaon and then channel his control of Dark Energon through a vast reserve underneath the fortress to create a legion of Terrorcons. Diabolically clever and eerily similar to his plans from the FiveEpisodePilot in Canon.

** The introduction of Dark Energon as well in the chapter.
