* Gaim's sequence before the opening practically screams Decade.

* The restaurant resembles the one from OOO.

** Likewise, Gaim's Jinba Arms have similar qualities to Kuuga's three alternate forms: Jinba Lemon is slow and powerful like Titan Form, Jinba Cherry is quick and agile like Dragon Form, and Jinba Peach has enhanced senses like Pegasus Form.
* Gaim's Musou Saber is practically the Blaygun from ''Series/KamenRiderFaiz'', only not used as a reverse one by default. Either that or Kamen Rider Ixa's Ixa Calibur from ''Series/KamenRiderKiva''.

* Upon its defeat, one can see a green halo above the Inves's head (actually the stem of the orange), like the Lords in Agito.

** Also, during the events of The Onigashima battleship, Ryutaros possessed Ouja, who had been summoned by Diend. [[spoiler: Micchy becoming the series' equivalent to Ouja isn't as out of left field as it might seem at first]].
* Zack and Peco are basically [[Series/KamenRiderFourze Shun and JK]] if they befriended the wrong man.

** Speaking of Deneb, the only Jimber form Gaim never used in-series was Jimber Melon, despite Kouta having the opportunity to do so in the movie...much like how despite Deneb being contracted to Ryotaro at one point in ''Den-O'', we never saw [[spoiler: Den-O Vega Form]].

* In Episode 23 we hear an Inves speak in a language the viewer can't understand, much like the [[Series/KamenRiderKuuga Grongi]], the [[Series/KamenRiderBlade Undead]] and the [[Series/KamenRiderKiva Fangires]].

* [[spoiler: In order to use the Kiwami Arms, Kouta must first transform into Kachidoki Arms. This is just like [[Series/KamenRiderAgito Agito]], who needs to transform into Burning Form first before into Shining Form. In addition, the transformation involves Kouta's armor ejecting parts off of itself, just like [[Series/KamenRiderKabuto Kabuto's Cast Off]]]].
* [[spoiler: After receiving the Kiwami Lockseed, Kouta falls against a cabinet which bears images of playing cards (in particular a Joker card). Given that the conversation proceeding this has DJ Sagara saying Kouta must become an Overlord, this is a fairly obvious nod to [[Series/KamenRiderBlade Blade]], the climax of which had its hero becoming a Joker Undead]].
** [[spoiler: After Kouta becomes the Man of the Beginning, he's able to instantly transform to Kiwami Arms. This could be a nod to Kenzaki/Blade's appearance in [[Series/KamenRiderDecade Decade]] where he, presumably still a Joker Undead, is able to automatically assume King Form with just his belt.]]
* Related to the above, [[spoiler:the fact that Kouta’s continuous use of Kiwami Arms resulted him becoming an Overlord is not only similar to Blade’s use of King Form, but also is similar to how Kamen Rider [=OOO=]’s continuous use of his [=PuToTyra=] combo resulted in him becoming a Greeed]].
* The way the riders have to tap on their belt buckles numerous times in order to perform the finisher move reminds some of ''Series/KamenRiderKabuto''.

* One for ''Series/KamenRiderRyuki'': the first main rider is a sword wielder, the second rider a lance wielder, and the third rider a green gunslinger.
* #38 contains a plot-important scene which parallels one in ''Series/KamenRiderOOO'': [[spoiler:The female lead (Hina[=/=]Mai) talks to TheHero (Eiji[=/=]Kouta), pointing out that all he ever seems concerned with is helping other people and encouraging him to find a desire for himself.]]
** It helps that they're facing the same problem: [[spoiler: using the same power source as the monsters is taking its toll, making them less human and more like the monsters. Human food losing its taste is even the first sign that this is happening.]] The SuperMode carrying this risk with it is also seen in ''Blade,'' as well as [[spoiler: the change actually taking place and being permanent, though they can still take human form.]].
