In May 2022, JYPE, through Twice's social media channels, announced they would release Nayeon's first solo EP – a SelfTitledAlbum – the next month, marking the first commercial solo music release for any of the members. On July 12th 2022, JYPE formally announced that all nine members had renewed their contracts, making Twice the agency's first girl-group to break the so-called "seven-year-curse", and one of the ''very'' few Korean groups to do so without losing or replacing any members.[[note]] The only other JYPE group to break the curse is BoyBand Music/TwoPM but they lost a member early on. * HiddenDepths: Across their discography, there are forays into a wide range of genres, even Japanese style city-pop in ''Say Something''. But this extends to their respective singing styles as well (both Dahyun and Chaeyoung, TWICE's go-to rappers, have very clear and soothing singing voices, while Momo is no slouch in the rapping department). Notably, Jihyo has a characteristic powerful singing voice and very rarely uses falsetto, which makes her performance in ''First Time'' (which she also wrote the lyrics for) stand out, for singing in falsetto for almost all her lines yet remaining distinctive.

* SuddenDownerEnding: The "knock knock" music video has a very happy and fun tone, so the implication that they freeze to death is very dark.

* BiblicalMotifs: ''Eyes Wide Open'', the title of their October 2020 album, alludes to their greater knowledge upon eating the [[ForbiddenFruit forbidden apple]].

She's always had shades of it over the years to a small degree, but it's really come to the forefront with the most notorious example being her casually sexy dance moves, her skimpier outfits and her performing a seductive cover of Ariana Grande's 7 Rings on-stage that's complete with booty shorts, ass shaking, and twerking.

* HotterAndSexier: The concept for "FANCY" is more mature than their previous singles. Even the MV uses a darker colour scheme. They've since been slowly cranking it up [[DownplayedTrope to a subtle degree]] with each passing comeback, as they grow more experienced, thus aging them out of the cuter side of themselves that was most evident from their debut to Fancy.

She tends to be more restrained, serious, and reserved in her day to day life, and mostly plays up the fun persona for the fans, her groupmates, or for the media. She also maintains a strict boundary between herself and her fans, to the point where nobody knows much about her personal life or even basic interests other than the few things she's allowed herself or her groupmates to reveal.

Needless to say, the grown-up era of Twice has done her especially well.
