Niall James Horan (born 13 September 1993) is an Irish singer-songwriter, who rose to fame as a member of Music/OneDirection before embarking on a solo career of his own.

Horan is currently signed to Capitol Records. He released his first single with them, ''This Town'', in 2016. After two more single releases, his debut album ''Flicker'' came out on 20 October 2017 and immediately went number one on the Billboard 200.

On 4 October 2019, Horan released his lead single, ''Nice to Meet Ya'', for his second album, ''Heartbreak Weather''. Later that month, he announced the ''Nice to Meet Ya Tour'', with openers FLETCHER and Music/LewisCapaldi. He released two more singles, ''Put a Little Love on Me'' and ''No Judgement'', before the album dropped on 13 March 2020.

Though the ''Nice to Meet Ya Tour'' was eventually canceled due to the UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic, Horan managed to release a remix with Ashe titled ''Moral of the Story'' while in lockdown. He also played a special live-streamed concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 7 November 2020 to support both his touring crew and the We Need Crew organization as the touring industry was impacted heavily during the pandemic.

Horan's third and most recent album, ''The Show'' came out on 9 June 2023 and went number one in several countries, including the United Kingdom and his native Ireland.
