After dozens have died, the Mind Flayer uses its forces to wrangle thousands of people into the middle of Times Square, plotting to open a massive portal directly beneath them and drag half of New York into the Upside-Down to be butchered.

** [[PsychopathicManchild Griffixis]] is an [[AliensAreBastards alien monstrosity]] and the HiveKing of an all-consuming pathogen. Previously infecting a far-off world, Griffixis wiped out all life on their planet, but not before the alien race created Nosferadon to stand against it. Eventually reaching Earth, Nosferadon infects two teenagers as its abducted victims, soon attacking a town as it grows big enough. Throughout, Griffixis, through its infected proxies, displays a childish glee at its mayhem. Facing Nosferadon, Griffixis lures the latter into getting gunned down by Nazi missiles, before soon assimilating Skureaus, gaining a superior body and preparing to continue its rampage. When Tom Benson enters the soul realm to sever Griffixis's link to Skureaus, Griffixis [[MindRape attempts to break Tom down]] with hellish visions. When seemingly destroyed, its two infected proxies escape and sneak into a crowd of refugees.

Dubbing the child "shit-boy" once he finally [[MindRape breaks from Hermann's tortures]], Hermann continues torturing and starving the child for days on end out of nothing more than [[ForTheEvulz pleasure]]. Once the child dies, Hermann furiously targets Rover, Red, and Charlie, resolving to murder Red and turn Charlie and Rover into his new slaves in retribution. Returning to Earth, Plutonian carves his own insignia into the U.S.A., killing thousands of people; slaughters entire cities; and uses dozens of superheroes as ammo to fling into space. After trying to murder the last remaining superheroes, Plutonian is fully willing to let the entire Earth perish due to radiation poisoning just to spite his nemesis, Qubit, only saving the planet because his own life is on the line. ** [[OurWerewolvesAreDifferent Gordon Baker]] is the {{warden|s Are Evil}} of the titular asylum, and is in actuality the leader of a [[SavageWolves savage pack of werewolves]]. [[TheStarscream Deposing his own father as alpha]] and keeping him locked in a dark room while keeping up the appearance he's still subordinate, every month Baker and his pack slaughter and consume all the patients at Hoxford at their own merriment, repeating the process with every batch that comes in. Baker spitefully locks an otherwise innocent psychiatrist named Jessica Ainley within Hoxford during the night of the hunt after she refuses to leave and soon after sets about gruesomely slaughtering everyone he can find. Baker personally captures a [[ImAHumanitarian cannibal]] named Gravy and psychotic protagonist Ray, delightfully noting the irony of a cannibal being consumed and instructing Ray himself to devour a still-living Gravy once he expresses kinship with the werewolves with an air of amusement.

Preferring to solve any of his problems by killing people and sending his soldiers to die in droves, Ashe reveals his ultimate plan to conquer Omega is by unleashing a Reaper Adjutant outbreak. When [[EvenEvilHasStandards a horrified Petrovsky]] points out this endangers the millions of people aboard Omega, including Cerberus's own soldiers, Ashe brushes it off as "acceptable losses" before trying to kill Petrovksy for his "weakness".



* ''VideoGame/{{Skylanders}}'' (Creator/IDWPublishing): [[BigBad Malefor]] is the self-crowned [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast Undead Dragon King]] in the Underworld of Skylands and is one of the Skylanders' more sinister foes. [[TheCorrupter Corrupting]] many inhabitants of Skylands to do his bidding, Malefor would have his minions kidnap Cynder before she was hatched so he can corrupt her into one of his minions and have her spread fear, terror, and destruction throughout Skylands. When Spyro manages to free Cynder from his control, Malefor would then attempt to capture and torture Hex in an attempt to learn about the secrets of her powers and use them for his own ends, leading to Hex seemingly destroying him, though not before she is transformed into one of the undead. Seeking revenge for his defeat, Malefor forces Calliope to assist him in reviving him with the powers of Spyro, Cynder, and Hex, [[PowerParasite rendering them weak and helpless]], falsely promising her to help her find her family if she does while threatening to kill her if she dares to disobey him. Upon his revival, he traps Spyro, Cynder, Hex, and Wallop in the Cadaverous Crypts, [[CruelMercy only sparing them]] so they can watch as Malefor destroys everything and everyone they ever knew and love in revenge for his defeat, starting with the Skylanders Academy, which is full of [[WouldHurtAChild young students]], all the while absorbing the powers from the other Skylanders as well. An arrogant, malevolent dragon with no comedic aspects whatsoever, Malefor is easily one of the Skylands' most dangerous villains.

** Issue #1's "Ghosts of Doom": [[PredecessorVillain Mr. Harraby]] is the ancestor of the wealthy Harraby family, setting the standard for his evil descendants. His cruelest action, however, is when he is transporting a shipment of slaves across the ocean and gets pursued by a British ship-of-war. Not wanting to be caught with the slave cargo, Mr. Harraby brought the slaves onto deck and clamped the anchor chain on the nearest slave before dropping the anchor while the slaves were all chained together, causing them one-by-one to be jerked overboard and drowned. Despite not being the main antagonist of the story, his family's evil legacy can all be traced back to him.

*** "The Ship of Lost Souls": Harry [[NameOfCain Cain]], a wealthy gambler and the owner of a gambling ship, [[BitchInSheepsClothing hides his true nature]] behind an affable front he puts on for his passengers, while behind closed doors he beats anyone who owes him money and tells his goons to kill them if they can't pay up. Because Cain [[TheScrooge refused to spend extra money to pay for a ballast on the ship's keel]], a tidal wave tips over the ship and drown the nearly two hundred people who were caught under deck while Cain leaves everyone, including his own men, to die as [[DirtyCoward he escapes in a speedboat alone]]. Completely remorseless about the deaths of his passengers and his employees, Cain is tricked into confessing by two reporters who survived the capsizing and when he realizes the truth, he attempts to gun them down as well.
*** "The Strangling Hands": Jean D'arst, aka [[SerialKiller Jean the Strangler]], is introduced as a petty coach robber in 18th century France, using his bare hands to murder the coach's two drivers and then its defenseless passenger. Having an epiphany, Jean sated [[AxCrazy his mad bloodlust]] across the country in the weeks that followed, killing for sport as readily as for loot and claiming more than two dozen victims before he gets caught. After a judge sentences him to have both his hands and his head removed, Jean places a curse on his hands so that they will go on strangling and killing forever. Over the years, the hands would reappear and then disappear, always accompanied by death, including five individuals whose death were made to [[NeverSuicide look like suicide]] when really they were just the latest victims of a murderer's DyingCurse.
** Issue #8's "Flaming Vengeance": Cal Arnum is a miserly landlord introduced as someone "too mean to shelter even a disease germ unless it pays rent". When collecting every penny from a mother and her son, the mother tells him she doesn't know how they will eat because of her husband's illness, but [[LackOfEmpathy Arnum just callously tells her it's her problem]]. After he is given a week to fix the wiring of his property before the city condemns the whole plot, Arnum decides to just [[InsuranceFraud burn it down and collect the insurance money]], his fire claiming 30 lives. When the arson does get traced back to him, Arnum attempts to escape justice with his money so that he can start over with a new name.
** Issue #12's "The Shrunken Heads of Dr. Death": The titular [[MadScientist Dr. Death]] is a researcher living in a compound with his pet ape in the jungles of Brazil and a collector of {{shrunken head}}s. When a plane crashes near his compound, Dr. Death kills the sole survivor and takes the bodies to add their heads to his collection, this not being the first time he has done this. Keeping the ring of one of his victims as a [[CreepySouvenir trophy]], Dr. Death's collection gets discovered by that victim's sister and her fiancé, causing Dr. Death to order his pet ape to strangle the fiancé to death and then do the same to the sister so he can add both of their heads to his collection. Dr. Death even betrays his own pet ape, having killed his mate and shrunken her head while using her disappearance to manipulate the ape into doing his dirty work.

** ''Dallas'': [[PsychopathicManchild Hazel and Cha-Cha]] are a pair of [[PsychoForHire psychopathic assassins]] who use their occupation to murder people [[ForTheEvulz for sadistic kicks]]. Sent by Temp Alternalis to kill rogue agent Number Five, the two torture the diner owner to death by [[AnArmAndALeg cutting off all his limbs]]--all for a pie recipe--while abusing his waitress. Kidnapping Five's brother, Klaus Hargreeves, the two torture him for Five's whereabouts and kills Klaus when he contacts Spaceboy for help; they later knockout Spaceboy, believing to have killed him. The two then decide to celebrate their victory by activating a nuclear bomb, [[OmnicidalManiac hoping to destroy the world]].
