* ''WesternAnimation/HowardLovecraftAndTheFrozenKingdom'': [[EldritchAbomination Nyarlathotep]], wicked as always, is the servant of Azathoth seeking to destroy Earth and other worlds for the Outer Gods. Nyarlathotep works alongside Abdul Alhazred in order to use the [[TomeOfEldritchLore Necronomicon]] to resurrect Cthulhu, now named Thu Thu Hmong/Spot, [[ManipulativeBastard manipulating]] the young H.P. Lovecraft into getting the book for them, only to betray the boy and tries to use the book to bring back Cthulhu. In ''The Undersea Kingdom'', Nyarlathotep helps Abdul in holding Lovecraft's parent hostage under the threat of death if he doesn't give them the Necronomicon, [[YouHaveFailedMe later burns Alhazred to death after growing tired of his failure]]. In ''The Kingdom of Madness'', [[DealWithTheDevil he makes a deal with a future Lovecraft]] to retrieve Spot to him. Once that succeeded and revives Cthulhu, he has Cthulhu destroy a planet populated by Deep Ones to demonstrate his powers, planning to destroy the entire Earth next for the Outer Gods.

* ''WesternAnimation/RiverdanceTheAnimatedAdventure'': [[VileVillainSaccharineShow The Huntsman]] is a [[EvilPoacher wicked poacher]] intent on stealing a spirit deer's magic antlers, uncaring that this would desiccate the rivers of Ireland and endanger all life reliant upon them. To this end, [[EcocidalAntagonist the Huntsman]] kills Patrick, the leader of the deer Patrick, after holding his next-in-line Benny hostage, and later tries to [[WouldHurtAChild kill Keegan]], whom he earlier tried manipulating through a vision of his dead grandfather, with a knife when the boy goes to stop him from spreading his darkness across the world.

** ''[[Anime/DetectiveConanFilm01TheTimeBombedSkyscraper The Time-Bombed Skyscraper]]'': Teiji Moriya is an architect with a [[MadArtist violent obsession with symmetry]]. Unsatisfied with his past asymmetrical works, he plans to [[MadBomber destroy them in disproportionately violent ways]] while taking revenge on [[Characters/CaseClosedShinichiKudo Shinichi Kudo]], who had unintentionally wronged him in the past. Starting by burning down four of his past works, he stole bomb-making materials and created plastic explosives to play a game of cat-and-mouse with Shinichi and the Tokyo police, bombing a park [[WouldHurtAChild with children in it]], a public square, and the Tokyo railway, causing further chaos by designing the bombs so that they explode if the trains slow down, forcing them to speed up. When finally revealed, [[TakingYouWithMe he attempts to blow up his own house and take the detectives with him]]. After being arrested, he reveals his greatest plan, destroying his "ultimate disgrace", a skyscraper and a major city center, starting by bombing the exits so that more people will die, all the while taunting Kogoro and Shinichi about Ran being trapped underneath the rubble, with the largest bomb, about to die.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Barnyard}}'': [[AxCrazy Dag]] is the sadistic leader of a [[ThoseWilyCoyotes pack of coyotes]]. Unlike the other coyotes who kill for food, he seems to [[PredatorsAreMean enjoy killing his victims more than eating them]]. This is shown when he shows a group of chickens his chain which has severed chicken legs on it. When faced with Otis's father Ben, he [[YouKilledMyFather murders him]] and then shames Otis by telling him that his father would've survived had he been there for him. He then makes a compromise with Otis that stated that he and his pack of coyotes could get a couple of animals every night, and if Otis didn't comply, Dag and his coyotes would personally slaughter everything in the farm that Otis held dear, including possibly the farmer. This deal was just a trick to keep Otis busy while he and his pack kidnap the hens as well as the chick Maddy. He then tries to spitefully [[WouldHurtAChild eat the latter]], just because she called him a "meaner". Murderous and needlessly cruel, [[VileVillainSaccharineShow Dag is seemingly out of place in an otherwise lighthearted film]].

* ''[[WesternAnimation/TheTigersApprentice The Tiger's Apprentice]]'' (2024): [[EvilSorceress Loo]], leader of the Yaoguai, seeks the power of the Phoenix to [[KillAllHumans destroy humanity]] and [[TakeOverTheWorld rule over the world]]. Her pursuit of the Phoenix leads to the death of its guardian and hero Tom Lee's grandmother, Mrs. Lee, and she even attempts to kill her foster daughter Rav when she discovers her true nature. Finally stealing the Phoenix, Loo unleashes her army upon San Francisco and [[ForcedToWatch forces Tom to watch]] as [[YourSoulIsMine drains the souls]] of every human in the city, taunting him with how she's taken everyone he cares about.
