Then, Iori wanted to have Chisa to help him prepare for his upcoming diving test but his actions made her believe that he wanted to do something dirty on him. When that was cleared, Aina and Kouhei overhear part of their conversation and believe that they are in a relationship.

''Grand Blue'' (''ぐらんぶる'') is a monthly {{Seinen}} {{Manga}} written by Kenji Inoue (creator of the ''LightNovel/BakaAndTestSummonTheBeasts'' {{Light Novel}}s) and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka (of the ''LightNovel/AmagiBrilliantPark'' {{Manga}} fame). What sets it apart from most SliceOfLife stories is its cast and setting: college is very different from high school, and topics that wouldn't usually show up in the latter like the consumption of alcohol, sex and the quest to lose one's virginity are rampant. Despite the narrative's potential for raunchiness, ''Grand Blue'' is light-hearted and tells an always hilarious, yet moving story of [[ComingOfAgeStory a young man's journey into adulthood]].

* SurprisinglyGoodForeignLanguage: Upon taking the train home for the summer holidays, Iori, Kouhei and Chisa encounter two foreigners who don't speak a lick of Japanese. Their dialogue consists entirely of German.
