Ambiguous Disorder is not a trope anymore, but a redirect to a YMMV entry.

* AmbiguousDisorder: Hanadori has No Social Skills, acts notably younger than his actual age, and seems to have trouble moderating his emotions. To say nothing of how strongly he seemingly believes his Chuunibyou delusions.

Cry Cute has been disambiguated.

* CryCute: Hanadori gets a moment when he thinks Koyuki might be dying, made more noteworthy by the fact that Koyuki had complained earlier in the episode that Hanadori is ugly when he cries.

Moving to YMMV.

* HoYay: The entire premise of the show is saturated with this with Koyuki receiving the most amount of attention. To the point even Sumiso (Koyuki's love interest) starts to believe he and Hanadori are more than 'just friends'.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While Handori and the others can bring out the worst in Koyuki, the latter does care about them and, even when it finally gives him the peace he wants, he can worry then they aren't bothering him and wonder if something's wrong.

A Destructive God Sits Next to Me (Boku no Tonari ni Ankoku Hakaishin ga Imasu) is a comedy Shojo manga by Arata Aki that began serialization in 2013. It was adapted into a 12 episode anime by EMT Squared for the Winter 2020 season.

The series follows the misadventures of Seri Koyuki, a catlike high schooler who IJustWantToBeNormal just wants to be left to study in peace but keeps getting annoyed by his classmate, Chuunibyou Kabuto Hanadori, who claims to be the reincarnation of a knight sworn to defend the world from some unspecified evil, and insists Koyuki is the reincarnation of his former partner.

!!A Destructive God Sits Next to Me provides examples of:

* AmbiguousDisorder: Hanadori has No Social Skills, acts notably younger than his actual age, and seems to have trouble moderating his emotions. To say nothing of how strongly he seemingly believes his Chuunibyou delusions.
* AmusingInjuries: All over the place, but some real ones too. For a supposedly 'nerdy' student, Koyuki is pretty keen to dish them out.
%%* BullyMagnet: Hanadori.
* CannotTalkToWomen: Hanadori turns into a ShrinkingViolet whenever girls start talking to him.
* Chuunibyou: The central premise of the series is that Koyuki tends to attract these. Most notably the eponymous "Destructive God," Hanadori, but the first year Hibiki Kamiya and Koyuki's childhood friend, Kimikage Mogami, act like this as well.
* CryCute: Hanadori gets a moment when he thinks Koyuki might be dying, made more noteworthy by the fact that Koyuki had complained earlier in the episode that Hanadori is ugly when he cries.
* DeathbringerTheAdorable: Hanadori names his incredibly tiny puppy Cerberus.
* EyepatchOfPower: Hanadori at least thinks his is this. He's shown to have worn a bandage on his eye in preschool, long before he started acting the way he does now, implying it might not be just a fashion accessory, but the chances of it actually keeping an evil demon under wraps are Understatement slim.
%%* EyesAlwaysShut: Tsukimiya
%%* FaceOfAThug: Gorio.
* FluffyTheTerrible: Hanadori's Destructive God persona is called Miguel.
* GenkiBoy: Koyuki. Or, he is when Hanadori et al aren't bothering him.
* HiddenDepths: One running gag involves Koyuki discovering that Hanadori has quite a few of these.
--> Koyuki: Since when were you so woke?!
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While Handori and the others can bring out the worst in Koyuki, the latter does care about them and, even when it finally gives him the peace he wants, he can worry then they aren't bothering him and wonder if something's wrong.
* JerkassHasAPoint: While Koyuki can be something of a JerkAss toward Hanadori, sometimes to the point of physically assaulting him, it's hard to blame him seeing as Hanadori, albeit while not being aware of it, is inducing a great deal stress in him that has a severe effect on his personal life, with Tsukimiya and the fact that he's a WeirdnessMagnet not helping his temper.
* ManChild: When he's dropping the "Hero of another world possessed by a demon" act, Hanadori really emphasizes the "middle-school" part of "middle-schooler syndrome", acting like an Keet excitable child who gets easily upset when feeling personally attacked, with his attachment to Koyuki being akin to how a child would act towards their best friend.
* ManipulativeBastard: Tsukimiya, hands down. While Hanadori can annoy Koyuki just fine of his own, Tsukimiya is more than happy to orchestrate and escalate events so that they'll annoy him even more for his own amusement. [[spoiler: In fact, it's his fault that Hanadori pesters Koyuki so much to begin with, having manipulated him into becoming a Chuunibyou since grade school and then, upon entering high school, telling him that Koyuki was his friend in a past life named Gestober, essentially kickstarting the entire plot for the sake of entertaining himself.]]
* NiceGirl: Sumiso is probably the only bright part of Koyuki's life, being the only character shown to not go out of their way to push his buttons and being quick to forgive for a misunderstanding after he explains himself.
* NoNameGiven: The boys' teacher and Koyuki's friend from a neighboring class aren't named.
%%* ProneToTears: Hanadori.
* RealityEnsues: Hanadori and Tsukimiya's constant annoying of Koyuki has had several horrible effects on his life, such as underperforming in school since their pestering prevents him from studying properly.
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: Cerberus, Hanadori's incredibly tiny puppy to whom he gives matching accessories.
* SmarterThanYouLook: Being a Chuunibyou might make you think that Hanadori has terrible academic skill, but he actually scores higher than Koyuki then again, this is partially because he prevents Koyuki from actually studying properly.
* StalkerWithACrush: Shikimi Tokimune to Hanadori and Suzuran Mogami to Tsukimiya.
* StraightMan: Koyuki. It's noted by multiple characters that whenever something stupid or ridiculous happens, he can't help but call out how stupid or ridiculous it is. This trait annoys him to the point that he thinks people try to rile him up for the sake of him snarking at it, and he tries to avoid responding to anything as a result. Easier said than done.
* SwissArmyTears: Inverted. When Hanadori is crying over Koyuki possibly dying one of his tears falls on Koyuki’s face causing his finger to twitch. Tsukimiya sees this and explains to hanadori that his tears may wake him up, as it happens in anime and stories, then encouraged him to let more drop on his face. This obviously does not work much to the chagrin of Koyuki’s spirit.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Tuna for Koyuki. Specifically in the form of tuna flavored drinks and ice cream.
* UnfazedEveryman: What Koyuki tries to be. And sometimes even succeeds, for a minute.
* VomitDiscretionShot: When Hanadori gets drunk on amazake during their New Year shrine visit he ends his drunken rampage by vomiting on Koyuki offscreen.
%%* WeirdnessMagnet: Koyuki
