* During "The Room Where It Happens" in ''Theatre/{{Hamilton}}'', one of the issues Congress is debating over is where to put the United States capital permanently, as New York was only meant to be a temporary spot. As Aaron Burr sings about it, Congress suddenly shouts a plethora of different suggestions to create a cacophony. The only instructions to cast members at this point is to pick a spot that was part of the US in the late 18th century -- judging how among the suggestions that can be heard on the official soundtrack include "Florida" (not part of the US until 1819, did not become state until 1845) and "Toronto" (not part of the US ''ever''), not everyone got the message.

The reasons such arguments come up are many and varied, and they can occur with just about any group with more than five people. They are often viewed from the perspective of someone off to the side, often the OnlySaneMan. This person is quite often the one to bring the argument to an end, either by providing the answer everyone is looking for or interjecting with a NoisyShutUp. Other times, they just watch with a rueful shake of the head. Sometimes, a mediator has to break it up with BigShutUp
