Being a man of his word, Marhulet turned Epic down and published on Steam as promised. Word spread about his decision and Steam review comments show that some people actually bought his game after hearing about his ethical stand.

*** The RCMP gained this reputation during the Klondike Gold Rush in the 19th century. American gold diggers would cross the border from the Western US into Canada and be stopped by the RCMP, who would politely take inventory of their various traveling gear and prohibit them bringing in anything that was against Canadian law, even though the rushers were going to (technically) American territory. The legend of Sam Steele was born here, as he was the officer in charge of the western Canadian region, and he lived up to his name with nerves of steel, refusing both bribes and threats with calm, unimpeachable fortitude. The Klondike Gold Rush remains the most ''orderly'' gold rush of the modern world as a result, and the RCMP hasn't backed down from their reputation since.

If you only know them from their checkerboard hats and red tunics and [[BewareTheSillyOne think them to be a joke]], they will ''ruin you'', and no amount of money or power will deter them. Which they would lose if thrown out for corruption charges. Why throw away a sure thing for something that's going to have you suffering stress illnesses, sleepless nights and ulcers for the rest of your life?
