* ''Literature/MidnightSun2020'', from the ''Literature/{{Twilight}}'' series, is a retelling of the first book from Edward's perspective. It ended up coming out more than a decade later than planned: Stephenie Meyer gave the early incomplete draft to someone who leaked on to the internet, and she got so upset over the leaking that she refused to continue to work on it. She later published the incomplete draft on her website so her fans at least would get it legally, and finally finished the book and had it published in 2020.
