* In ''Series/{{CSINY}}'', we learn in the episode "Near Death" that Mac Taylor's middle name is 'Llewellyn'. One of his old partners used to rib him about it incessantly.

* ''[[https://archiveofourown.org/works/52879939/chapters/133865824 Spider-Ninja]]'': Chapter 32 reveals that, upon being adopted by [[InterspeciesAdoption Splinter]], Petra took up the middle name Sofonisba. Averted in that she ''chose'' that middle name to tie in with her brothers' Renaissance-themed names. Nick Fury is the only one who has a reaction to her name, but that's mainly due to surprise.

* An episode of ''WesternAnimation/TheMightyB'' revolves around the main character's pseudo-Hindi middle name, "[[spoiler:Kajolica]]". Turns out "not only is it embarrassing, it's ''cursed''". Go figure.

* In ''Series/WhateverHappenedToTheLikelyLads?'', Terry goes to church in order to eavesdrop on his best friend Bob's embarrassing middle name, which he'd been trying to learn since he was a child. The middle name turns out to be Scarborough, after where he was conceived.

* ''Series/FellowTravelers'': Although Hawk is willing to reveal his middle name to Tim, he refuses to talk about it any futher.

* On ''Series/{{Haven}}'' Audrey reveals her middle name is Prudence, "self-inflicted" at her confirmation. In a FriendshipMoment, Nathan reveals his is Thaddeus, inflicted on him by his father. Audrey agrees Garland is a "bad, bad man" for this.

** Speaking of which, her nanny, Ole Golly, was named "Catherine Myrtle Galliano" at birth (with the middle name after her great aunt), but decided to change the middle name to "Willa", after Willa Cather, much to her mother's disapproval.

* ''Franchise/TheFlash'': Wally West's full name is Wallace Rudolph West. Probably due to the fact that it's his father's first name, and his dad was kind of a dick who [[AnythingThatMoves cheated on his wife constantly]] and wasn't terrifically supportive of his son.

* In ''Series/{{Degrassi}}: The Next Generation'', J.T. Yorke's full name is [[Franchise/StarTrek James Tiberius]] Yorke.

* ''Literature/PerryRhodan'' very occasionally brings this up with long-running mostly supporting character Homer G. Adams (financial genius and first-generation human immortal cast member -- he actually does go back all the way to the first issues still set in the 1970s), who's not particularly fond of his middle name Gershwin as we for example find out on one occasion during the Andromeda arc when he meets a [[CloningBlues duplicate]] of his that has chosen to adopt just that name for himself. Then the subject rarely ever comes up again...[[ContinuityNod until]], many arcs and in-universe well over a thousand years later, shady alien ambassador Sotho Tal Ker (who will become a recurring character and foil [[WildCard for pretty much everyone at some time or other]], so the irritation gets to ''last'' this time around) latches onto him and keeps insistently calling him "Gershwin" by way of demonstrating what good friends they are.

* It's a title rather than a name, and it only appears in the [[AlternateContinuity novels]], but Lina Inverse, star of ''LightNovel/{{Slayers}}'', has the official Wizard Guild title of "Lina the Pink Sorceress". Seeing as how she's a tomboyish ChaoticNeutral {{Tsundere}}, this embarrasses the hell out of her.
