* In the 1913 silent film ''Film/CousinsOfSherlocko'', a man is pursued by a pair of incompetent detectives who have mistaken him for a notorious criminal. His friend suggests adopting female disguises to shake them off, which works to the extent that the detectives don't recognise him when he leaves the house but doesn't go all to plan because the detectives decide to abandon their stakeout to flirt with the young "ladies".

Crosswicking, Trope was cut/disambiguated due to cleanup

This trope is often a major part of how the SecondLawOfGenderBending operates. Compare TransgenderFetishization, for which this is usually a RequiredSecondaryPower, where an attractive crossdressing or gender-bending character [[ShamelessFanserviceGirl really enjoys]] his feminine attractiveness and sexiness, sometimes to excess. SweetOnPollyOliver is a subtrope where a woman crossdressing is [[StupidSexyFlanders found attractive by straight guys]]. Frequently accompanies OldFriendNewGender. See also RuleSixtyThree, which basically exists because of this trope. When they actually are ''both'' genders, it becomes EverybodyWantsTheHermaphrodite. Compare EvenTheGuysWantHim and EvenTheGirlsWantHer.

* ''Manga/OnePiece'': Ivankov. ''Dear Lord''. When Ivankov is a man he is ugly, and [[{{Gonk}} barely even human-looking]]. When he is a woman she is beautiful. Why? Because your painfully forced DesignatedGirlFight wouldn't be complete without two attractive girls duking it out! His powers lets him control ''anything'' about a person's body, be it [[VoluntaryShapeshifting himself]] or [[InvoluntaryShapeshifting anyone else]] by controlling hormones, so if he wanted to, he could probably have changed into an unattractive woman, an attractive man, or a freaking goat. Hell, his power is probably how he has his usual appearance of a vaguely bowling-pin shaped giant. He defeated a man in a fight by turning him both body and mind into that of a woman's.

Contrary to stereotype, this can be TruthInTelevision, although it will usually be harder to pull off than in fiction due to the averages of [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_dimorphism sexual dimorphism]] in stature, build, facial structure and other such factors between men and women in real life; if a man is pretty when made up as a woman, he is likely also a PrettyBoy to begin with. While many actual {{Drag Queen}}s could probably be cited as straight (or more usually, gay) examples of the trope, such judgments would necessarily be subjective, as well as prone to attract controversy to the page. Therefore, Administrivia/NoRealLifeExamplesPlease
