''Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai'' (also known as ''I Want to Eat Your Pancreas'') is a novel by Sumino Yoru, published by Futabasha in June 2015. [[TheFilmOfTheBook A film adaptation from the novel]] is released on August 2017. An anime film adaptation was released in 2018.

Despite [[JustForFun/IThoughtItMeant its creepy name]], ''Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai'' is actually a sad story between I [[spoiler:,later revealed as Haruki Shiga,]] and Sakura Yamauchi during their high school life. I found a book -- with the title ''Disease Coexistence Journal'' -- which belong to Sakura. Sakura is diagnosed with a pancreas cancer, leaving only a year to survive. After that meeting, this two people who never talked to each other begins to spend the girl's remaining time together.

On the other hand, The protagonist starts to feel that he is touched by Sakura and slowly changes to be a better person.
