It's been decided that Manhua and Manhwa examples shall be placed into their own folders. Moving example to the correct section.

* Manhua/RetiredHeroes: Saliy used to be an absolutely horrible cook, but years of practice have made her food edible.

* Anime/Naruto has at least two examples:
** Although having second-to-none skill when it comes to preparing medicaments and antidotes, Tsunade is known for being a very subpar cook. Seemingly her abilities in that matter were passed on her best student -- Sakura Haruno -- who is as bad at it as Tsunade.

** Iruka Umino tries cooking once. He fails so badly that when Naruto takes a look at it, he describes it as a "crime scene".

* Manga/BlackButler has Baldroy, whose idea of cooking usually involves flamethrowers, meaning there's a RunningGag of Sebastian having to do damage control. Though during the cricket tournament, he actually weaponizes this, switching the meat pie Baldo brought along for the rest of the Phantomhive household with one meant for the opposing team, giving them food poisoning and getting them disqualified. Like the rest of the Phantomhive house staff, Baldroy isn't there for his domestic skills - .

** Trope beautifully by Nao Sadatsuka. The dish she presents to the judges at the Fall Classic is not only extremely vile looking, but the smell of it is so bad that it just about flattens everyone inside the building. However, one incredibly brave judge tries it (despite being on the verge of vomiting from the smell alone)...and it's so delicious that she can't stop eating it. This prompts the other judges to follow suit, and they proceed to give her what was easily the highest score at that point in the judging.

** Filler character Apis tries to show her gratitude to the Straw Hats for saving her by cooking a meal for them...the thing is, though, whatever it is she's tried to cook is burnt to charcoal status (and the cooking utensils are severely burnt after she's done preparing it), and when the crew eats a bite of it to spare Apis's feelings, they wind up chugging water to get rid of the taste (and Zoro actually changes color from eating it). Of course, Luffy is the only one who can eat the "food" with no ill effect.

* Tsukamoto Tenma and Sawachika Eri from Manga/SchoolRumble qualify. Their rice balls led to ... bad things.

** Misato Gori, a minor character from the original series. The donuts she makes are not only burnt and filled with pieces of egg-shell, they give everyone that eats them food poisoning. She mistakes their tears of pain for TearsOfJoy, and believes her cooking is unusual-looking but "cute". Apparently, while cooking, she also burns the kitchen ceiling....
