** In ''Videogame/FinalFantasyX'', Seymour kills almost the entire Ronso tribe, making Kimahri one of the last Ronso. However, there are still a few left, like the Ronso Blitzball Team. The LighterAndSofter [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyX2 Final Fantasy X-2]] reveals that a good amount of Ronso survived Seymour's slaughter, so they'll probably be fine. Nevertheless, Seymour refers to Kimahri as "the last Ronso" after the butchery was finished. [[UnstoppableRage Kimahri does not take it well.]]

* ''VideoGame/{{Bayonetta}}'': There were two clans that oversaw the balance between light and darkness, and both of them had dwindled to this by the time the game takes place. Bayonetta herself and Jeanne are the last of the Umbra Witches, the clan allied with Inferno, and Father Balder was the last of the Lumen Sages, the clan allied with Paradiso.

*** Subverted when the canonical to the game ''ComicBook/SonicTheHedgehogIDW'' comic reveals that there is another survivor from the E-Series, that being Sigma. He was not ''supposed'' to survive as his broken shell was washed off in an island, though it's unclear how he ended up there.

** In ''Videogame/DarkSoulsI'', you encounter a Wyvern (he guards the bridge from the Undead Burg to the Undead Parish), the Gaping Dragon (a mutant dragon hiding in the sewers), Seath himself (his betrayal was richly rewarded by Gwyn much to the ire of some of his subjects), a Stone Dragon (hiding in one of the most difficult to reach hidden areas in the game), and Black Dragon Kalameet (a dragon the gods left to his own devices since they were just ''that'' scared of him and for good reason). You can (and will in the case of Seath -- the Gaping Dragon ''can'' be skipped and Kalameet is a BonusBoss but Seath ''has'' to die for the main plot to progress) kill all but the Stone Dragon.

* There used to be 100 Ghostrunners. By the start of the ''VideoGame/{{Ghostrunner}}'', ninety0nine of them are dead or have gone missing, and the player character is the only one remaining who is taking the fight to the top of the Tower. Played with for the second boss, Hel - she is a fully robotic creation based on Ghostrunner technology to serve Mara. Of the three bosses she's potentially the most difficult, as she's more than a match for the player character's skills and must be defeated without dying even once.

* In ''VideoGame/StarControlII'', Tanaka claims to be the last of the Shofixti. He was late for the final battle, during which they caused a nova and destroyed their home planet. If you kill him, his brother Katana will show up a month later, also claiming to be the last of the Shofixti for the same reason. However if you rescue him (or his brother), you'll find out that they were both wrong, and there's 16 cryogenically preserved Shofixti Maidens in the possession of a collector of unique aliens. Collect them, and Tanaka/Katana can repopulate the entire race, so it's a Last Of His Kind of a very limited sense.
* [[ActionGirl Krystal]] the blue fox of the ''VideoGame/StarFox'' franchise is the sole surviving citizen of her home planet, [[AllThereInTheManual at least according to supplements.]] Take note that she never mentiones it in-game.

* ''VideoGame/LegacyOfKain'': Janos Audron is the last of the orginal WingedHumanoid generation of Vampires, who lived in seclution near the hamlet of Uschtenheim [[spoiler:until his heart was ripped out by the [[KnightTemplar Sarafan Brotherhood]].]] [[spoiler:In a twist of fate, Raziel, the very Sarafan who tore it from his chest, would later return it and revive Janos as undead wraith.]]

* In ''VideoGame/ArcTheLad II'', Elc is the last living Pyrenian. Inverted in ''Twilight of the Spirits'': [[spoiler: Darc and Kharg are the first Human/Deimos hybrids]] which is ironic since intelligent monsters where created [[spoiler: by using kids with spiritual powers like Elc]].

*** In the ''Dawnguard'' DLC, the player meets the last of the Snow Elves that haven't been corrupted into Falmer, Knight-Paladin Gelebor.
