* After Tony remotely saves Peter via his empty armor, he notes he designed everything in Peter’s suit to include a heater which he then activates to ward off Peter getting cold from being wet. It’s a throwaway moment but it’s likely Tony even bothered to put it in the suit to prevent Peter from freezing after Tony’s experience freezing in the snow when his armor failed and crashed mid flight in ''Film/IronMan3''.

It's nice to know that despite all the fear the public has towards the Hulk, it doesn't change the fact that the scientific community still views Dr. Bruce Banner as one of the greatest minds in the world. Especially since, most continuities have his reputation ruined and the scientific community's esteem for him very low because of the Hulk. Plus, it's revealed Mr. Harrington was indeed the same Culver University student that Bruce befriended over pizza for the latter to gain access to the computers in ''Film/TheIncredibleHulk'', so much like how Principal Morita allowed the Captain America [=PSA=]s to run in his classes out of gratitude for Cap rescuing his grandfather Jim's life on the battlefield, he could have in part pushed to have Bruce's picture featured in the school classroom he teaches at for students to look up to for his intellect in memory of their friendship when he was still a student himself.

* Just the idea that Marvel's biggest star is finally home where he belongs is enough to bring happy tears to fans' eyes.
* The fact that Happy Hogan is the one to oversee Spidey's heroics is one when you consider the fact that Happy Hogan is played by Creator/JonFavreau, who directed ''Film/IronMan'' and ''Film/IronMan2'', which jump-started the MCU. That's right, Jon Favreau is the one, both InUniverse and OutOfUniverse, to bring Spider-Man into the franchise that he (Favreau) helped create.
* Tom Holland in full Spider-Man costume and along with his cast mates (Zendaya and Jacob Batalon) visiting an Atlanta hospital and then a New York City hospital. As many of the MCU actors have the tendency to use their star power as these heroes for good causes like these, it's good to see Tom Holland himself is no different.
* Creator/MichaelGiacchino's use of the EarWorm theme song from [[WesternAnimation/SpiderMan1967 the 1967 cartoon series in fully orchestral form]] for the Marvel Studios logo. When he released a video of it being recorded by the orchestra, commenters on Website/YouTube openly admitted to [[TearsOfJoy crying with joy]].
** Several of the orchestra members are clearly grinning like idiots themselves.
* Tom Holland stated in an interview that the boy with the Iron Man helmet and gloves from ''Film/IronMan2'' was actually ''Peter''. Yes, Peter Parker has always been in the MCU, and he has always been a hero.
* [[spoiler:Pepper Potts' cameo, which feels very much like it was deliberately put in as an assurance to all the fans who were worried that the announcement of her offscreen breakup with Tony in ''Civil War'' meant that Gwyneth Paltrow was done with the MCU.]] Better yet, [[spoiler:her scene shows she knows Tony has taken a KidHero under his wing, plus that Tony may be proposing to Pepper with a ring Happy has kept since 2008]].
* Tony insisting that Happy invite Peter to a NBA Finals party, even though, according to Happy, the rest of the guests are more "sophisticated" at Tony's request.
** When Happy gets FRIDAY to double-check the invites list, FRIDAY inquires on whether or not to invite Captain Steve Rogers. Happy admits that it's TooSoon, but this shows that Tony is willing to accept Cap back into their group when the wounds of ''Civil War'' have properly healed.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eyu7zwpLe7M This video]], showcasing all three incarnations of cinematic Spider-Men, set to Diddy's 'Coming Home'. It starts with Kevin Fiege talking about how Spider-Man is the crown jewel for Marvel before transitioning into the music video, portraying all three Spider-Men as equals and how fans have forgiven the mistakes made with the previous two incarnations. This builds to a crescendo about Spider-Man finally coming ''home'' to Marvel.
* Blended with TearJerker as if by alchemy, Joan Lee, beloved wife and muse of Stan Lee, passed away at the age of 93 on the day before the film's wide release. One of the sweetest stories to come out of their 70+ year relationship is that a depressed Stan contemplated quitting the comic biz, but Joan encouraged him to do at least one comic he'd be proud of. Thus came Fantastic Four and the birth of the Marvel Universe. She also encouraged him to fight his publisher's push to make Spider-Man an adult with no problems. In a very real sense, Marvel in all its forms owes the late Mrs. Lee a colossal debt. The day after Joan Lee went home, Spidey came home.
* Tom Holland's statement that if the future Spider-Man films ever get into this incarnation's backstory, he wants Creator/TobeyMaguire to play Uncle Ben. It's a small thing, but seeing how so much of the fandom insists on there being a "rivalry" between the three cinematic Spider-man series, what with praising one film series and trashing the others for triviality (Marvel Studios didn't even EXIST at the time Sam Raimi made his Spider-Man movies), it's rather nice that the actual people in charge at Marvel want to treat with respect ALL of the film series. For Pete's sake, if Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man hadn't been a success back in 2002, there probably wouldn't have been an MCU at all later on.
* The Thai restaurant scene has a picture of King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej, who actually passed away before the movie's release. Bearing in mind that Thailand has never really approved of Hollywood's interpretation of its monarchs since ''Film/TheKingAndI'', it's heartwarming and a little unusual that a more respectful nod to his legacy is in ''a superhero movie''.
* The fact that the {{Fanon}} nickname for Tony Stark and Peter Parker's relationship is Iron Dad and Spider-Son. And the fact that RDJ and Tom Holland are totally in on the father-son dynamic, to the point where they say it in interviews and RDJ's official Facebook page has posted some of the Iron Dad memes before. It's absolutely ''adorable.''

** Really the wringer Tony's been through since ''The Avengers'' finally giving him a break. He almost got doomed to die alone in space, which left him with crippling PTSD, then he unleashes a sentient AI bent on killing off humanity. His obsession with making things right in the aftermath ruins his relationship with Pepper and drives him to sign the Sokovia Accords, something that only accomplishes tarnishing his friendship with Captain America and branding the rest of the Avengers fugitives. After years of going through all of that he finally has something work in his favor; the guy's earned it.
