* Throughout the entire movie, it's made quite clear that there is nothing Shaggy would like more than to become human again, and he wants to win the race so Dracula will do that. But near the climax of the movie, when the Hunch Bunch kidnaps Scrappy and Googie, Shaggy ''instantly'' turns the car around, sacrificing his first-place spot, without a moment's hesitation.
