* "War Cries" has a nice one. Nell has just come very close to being [[CurbStompBattle Curb Stomped]] in the boathouse by a witness that turns out to be the bad guy. As she is walking back into Ops sporting stiches and bruises, she has Deek's hoodie wrapped around her.

* And again, from the same "Deeks recovering from the effects of torture" plotline: Kensi brings him food and insists he watch a scary movie with her, but he just drifts off to sleep on the couch beside her before the film even starts. After having major insomnia for the past several days, the fact that he finally calmed down enough from her blabbering on about the movie [[TastesLikeDiabetes may have you reaching for your insulin]] and [[ShipTease loving the whole thing]]. Especially telling is the [[TalkingInYourSleep seemingly incoherent mumbling as he's drifting off]]: [[spoiler:"It's a love story."]] This ''could'' be taken as him trying to respond to her ranting about the movie, ''or'' it could be taken as him finally answering Nate's question (he ''did'' say Deeks would be able to sleep when [[spoiler:he finally admitted to himself what was different about his relationship with Kensi from his relationship with any other member of the team]]).

* In "Live Free or Die Standing", everyone in the OSP team receives a message from Eric that contains a check for $10,000 and a message that Eric donated an equal amount to their favorite charities, noting how he wanted to share his success with them.

** After the episode's case was wrapped up, Kensi and Deeks were about to take Rosa for dinner when Kilbride demanded their presence. They were sadly bummed out, but when they were arrived at the beach, there was a party waiting for them, all thrown together by the team, welcoming Rosa to their family.

* In "Live Free or Die Standing", everyone in the OSP team receives a message from Eric that contains a check for $10,000 and a message that Eric donated an equal amount to their favorite charities, noting how he wanted to share his success with them.

* The sub-plot in 12x07 [[spoiler: with Deeks interviewing to get into FLETC]] is equal parts this or funny. Special mention goes to Deeks and Sam's conversation and Deeks' interview.

* Deeks is down after losing his liaison job and feels he has to sell his bar in order to buy the dream house for him and Kensi. With no warning, Hetty pops up on the monitor from somewhere overseas to tell Deeks she's gotten him accepted into the NCIS academy so he can become a full agent.

* From "Till Death Do Us Part", there's the note that Kensi leaves for Deeks to find, the gist of it being that he's the first man since her deceased father to make her feel loved and safe.

** From the same episode, Kensi wonders if they can trust Jennifer Kim. Deeks flat out says that they can because of the simple fact that Granger did, and since they trusted Granger, they can trust Kim.

* In "Liabilities", while it's [[TearJerker sad]] that [[spoiler: Granger has passed]], it's also touching how [[spoiler: he tried to [[DisappearedDad make up for not being around to his daughter]].]]

* In "Unleashed", [[spoiler: Kensi and Deeks]] are finally engaged!

* Can't remember the episode's name, but it involved a young Arabic man who was eager to become an American citizen. After he helps the team foil a terrorist attack on a ceremony to induct hundreds of new citizens, Hetty calls in the presiding judge to personally administer the Oath of Allegiance. The citizen-to-be immediately recites the oath from memory without any help. The look on the judge's face is what sells it.
