* Toula and Nick's relationship in general is very sweet. Nick is entirely supportive of her desire to break out of her rut and do something new with her life, and in turn Toula encourages him to pursue his dreams of becoming an artist. Notably, they're the only two members of the Portokalos family that never bicker with each other.

** Also Maria revealing that the reason that she and Gus, as much as they love Greece, immigrated to America, so that their children could have a better life than they did, in their impoverished, war torn village.
-->'''Maria''': ''(to Toula)'' I see you, and Athena, and Nicko. We came here for you, so you could live. We gave you life... so you could live it.

* Rodney and Harriet's reappearance. They're not so overwhelmed by the Portokolos family anymore, having become one of them and even getting invited to and attending the family meeting.
* Paris asking Bennett to be her prom date after seeing him get turned down by the girl he originally asked out. The two of them hit it off right away, bonding over their own experiences with their Greek families and have a wonderful time at the prom.
* The entire Portokalos family sees Paris off when dropping her off at her dorm in NYU. They all say their goodbyes, with Gus even gifting his granddaughter with a bottle of Windex.

* The fact that Gus brought his mother all the way from Italy to their home to care for her is kinda sweet and heroic in a sense. Especially because it's our right stated that she survived World War 2, and still suffers from her experiences during the war.

* Harriet and Rodney dancing with the Portokaloses at the wedding reception. It seems the dry toast has some flavour after all.
* Gus's little speech at the Reception counts when you think about it closely. In the scene prior to the wedding, he openly refers to the Millers as being "dry toast" (that is, boring) but then at the reception has realised "hey, we're all different but in the end, we're all fruit." (In other words, it's OK for us to be different because we're still human).
